919-250-8834 from "wake Med" hospital but when you call back it says # is disconnected and Wake Med says they dont have that #

sounds like it is looking for fax.called back. says the number has been disconnected.

ACTUALLY-- I just called WakeMed and the operator said that there is not a 919-250-8834 at WakeMed...

I'm getting weird phone calls now...It's a mumbling african american woman or child and the first time they called I told them that they had the wrong number, now they keep randomly calling me, mumbling and hanging up. When I try to call the number back it goes blank...SCARY!!!!!! If it's WakeMed then I'm 10 seconds from calling them and telling them that they have a scary creep at their hospital!

I have gotten several calls from this number today. I'm never around when the phone rings but when I try to return the missed call, it says the phone is disconnected.

The number 919-250-8834 comes from a line at WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh. You can not call the number back. It is an outgoing line only.

I had a missed call on my cell and then the phone rang at work, which I do not have listed ANYWHERE, with the same number on the caller ID. A little weirded out. I called the number back and a recording told me I had not dialed the number correctly.

why did this caller call me i didnt pick up the phone bc i was in school then i called it back and it said it was disconnected wtf

Someone at this number has called me five times in two days.  I tried to call it back and got a recording saying my call could not be completed.  I asked the person not to call again to no avail.  He said, "Oh, you know who I am."  I do not know who this is.

Yes- Wake Med Center... I had applied to a volunteer position and received a callback from a person at Wake Med from that number

I received a call from this number at 1:30 in the morning, always an alarming thing when your phone rings in the middle of the night.  I couldn't wake up enough to answer the phone before it stopped ringing but called the number right back and got a recording saying I had dialed an incorrect number.

Nov 17, 2008 I recieved a call from 919-250-8834. I didn't answer it right away but when I called the number, a recording came on stating that I cannot dial this number. I'm familiar with the exchange at WakeMed Hospital and it is 350-xxxx. Someone did mention that it used to be 250-xxxx.
But why is it disconnected?
I don't like it one bit.

I answered my phone, and they hung up right away. I called the number back, and It had been disconnected
