I just got a text from this number I already told them before they said anything no suprise cousin not giving out addresse for someone to pick up willing to meet somewhere in town cash only no paypal. I keep getting text from these a***oles wheres the FBI cant they find out wheres this comng from shut them the F down!!!????

I also received another series of texts about my motorcycle listed on Cycle Trader it went like this.Hiya,how are you doing? do you still have ya bike for sale? What's the condition and why do you wanna sell it, What's ya asking price? (1/3)Good...Can you assure me that the bike is in good state and that i will not be disappointed with it. I'm ready to pay your asking price and to be honest, I (2/3)wanted to buy this for my Dad but the issue is i am very busy at work and i do have a contract to go for which start today and am leaving any moment from (1/3)Since I'm requesting this transaction to be done via PayPal. I will be responsible for all the pay pal fee/charges on this transaction and if you don't  (3/3)now..so my only quickest payment option is PayPal as i can send money via PayPal anytime (2/3)have an account with paypal,its pretty easy, safe and secured to open one. Just log on to www.paypal.com. I hope we can make the purchase as fast as (3/3)possible? I have a mover that will come for it once payment clears and take care of it for me. I got the same exact messages today aswell , bike was posted on Cycletrader.  I researched the phone number as i too felt the messeges were fishy.   What an A$$h0le!!!  It amazes me that people have time to waste like these guys.

Had this same exact thing happen yesterday. What a piece of crap. Wording and everything was exactly the same as above.

Yep, got a text asking if my RV was still for sale from RVTrader.com.  Then went on to say "I'll like you assure me that it is in good condition and I will not be disappointed with it, and what is your last asking price?".  I wasn't born yesterday loser.

Got the same text today word for word. I asked where he was located and no answer. Easy to figure out it was a scam and definitely no more contact when I told him what I do for a living; police officer. Beware this is definitely a scam by some not so intelligent folks!

Got the same message for a bike I am selling.  Had doubts about him after the first txt.

Got text from this number asking if Bike is still available. Glad I check out this number. Had another just like this: 336-628-33973

Got the same message, plus e-mails saying money was in my paypal account. Also had my bike listed on Cycle Trader.  SCAM ALL THE WAY

Just got the same exact text word for word as others here today for my bike on cycletrader...

I just got two text messages asking if my bike is for sale.  One from 919-283-3088 and another from 646-801-6752.  Same text in both messages.

I received the same message as the others had previously - with the same number as 919-283-3088.  Wanting to pay in full for a vehicle that he/she hasn't even viewed.  Asking for a price that is clearly listed on my CycleTrader listing.

Got the same message "Do you still have this bike on cycle trader for sale". Would never answer the questions where are you located. After reading all of these posts I am glad I googled the number!

Okay they switched numbers this scammer is now using the phone number 646-801-6752.  Exact same message as listed in the example above.  Today's date is July 4th, 2013.

Posted on cycle trader and got the same initial message "DO YOU STILL HAVE THIS BIKE ON CYCLE TRADER FOR SALE?"  I posted back that I did and then checked the number and found the information on here....So I just sent him back a text message that read as follows.....
"I ASSURE YOU IT IS IN GOOD CONDITION AND YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED WITH IT AND MY ASKING PRICE IS CLEARLY WRITTEN IN ENGLISH ON THE AD. I BOUGHT THE BIKE FOR MY DAD BUT HE IS UNABLE TO RIDE IT AS HE IS DEAD. IF YOU ARE STILL INTERESTED SEND ME YOUR PAYPAL LOGIN AND PASSWORD ALONG WITH A VALID CREDIT CARD WHICH I WILL CHARGE SIGNIFICANTLY AND ONCE FUNDS ARE CLEARLY IN MY HAND YOU CAN HAVE IT....THANK YOU"

Same deal with this number, "Do you still have the bike for sale".  Scammer.

I had the samething happen to me. Called the number after first text. Nothing then got texted again and ask for name and address would not answer. I then told him that my attorney said I could use his Paypal account  and have not heard from him again.

Same thing here...word for word. I let them know I forwarded their number to the proper authorities...who ever that may be!

same thing as jerry posted happened to me is there any authoirity who polices these types of calls its getting annoying

I listed a bike for sale on cycle trader and within 24 hours this person contacted me and the exact same thing happened. Even said they wanted to buy the bike for their dad. Person was pushing for me to setup pay pal and would not answer any questions. I asked them four times where they were contacting me from and they refused to answer.

Same thing ? this is a scam.  The buyer sends emails stating the funds have been transfer including shipping cost.  Then instructs you to pay the shipping cost upfront first to: Cashonlinecenter@contactoffice.net.
