1-12-12:  This is continuous, for the last 2 years.  Already 7 calls this year.  A different number each time they call.  The message says "press 2 to opt out" but they continue to call anyway.   If you press 1 "to talk to an operator" they're rude and if you ask them to stop calling they simply hang up.   I've reported these calls for 2 years to the DO NOT CALL registery, and have been reporting them to the FCC, to no avail.

A note on Unwanted Calls.  Our world is changing. Sadly - The 'Do Not Call' list only works with Legitimate Telemarketers but unfortunately does not apply to: Surveys, Charities and of course, Criminals don't follow any laws. These Criminals have various kinds of ploys.  Some hide behind Surveys and Charities and of course the two big ones are Phony Debt Collectors and Low Interest offers.The only way to avoid these calls is DO NOT EVER RESPOND because if you do respond you will not only continue to be harassed by the same caller but your number will be sold to other 'Harassers' now that they know you are a live Human Being with a real phone number.  Also the Criminals/Shysters only use a number for a short period and then change it to avoid being caught.  Another sad note is that even if you do respond to a legitimate Survey or Charity - you will be placed on a 'Sucker List' and your number will be passed To & Fro for all to exploit you, including the criminals.  I also never respond to any political calls anymore, because I don't want to give any politician the knowledge of my concerns just so He/She can LIE TO ME in the future by telling me 'What I want to hear', because - Honest Politicians already 'know' the Needs and Concerns of The People that He/She is representing.  Again, our world has changed and responding to any of these callers only places us at risk for 'Who knows what?" At this time in histosry I have not discovered a way to 'AVOID' ALL HARRASMENT and so far the only way to avoid ongoing harassment is -Caller ID- and/or a phone that can 'Block' callers who will not stop.  Some of these phones also have a Programmimg Feature that will BLOCK Calls which do not have a number like 'Out Of Area' or 'Private Caller" and is well worth the investment.  We can no longer 'Trust' ANYONE "Who we don't know' that is calling us.

Received several calls from 919-342-2380. Same script as the other people that have posted here. Since our number is on the National Do Not Call Registry, I filed a complaint for EVERY call. I haven't been able to find any information leading to the identification of the company. It may be registered to a company called Telcove Operations - NC. The contact number that is listed for them 336-510-5622 gives a recorded message to leave a message for 336-210-5437, which is a different number. When the second number is called the same recorded message is played.  The concern for me is that they do call and ask for people by first name with personal information that they should not have.  If your number is on the National Do Not Call Registry, file a complaint @ https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx. The attorney general of NC can be reached at 1-877-5-NO-SCAM.

Just received call from this number. CALLER ID said NOT AVAILABLE. Didn't answer call. waited to see if message will be recorded. Nothing happened.
Isn't there some means of doing away with annoying calls. Federal and State DO NOT CALL don't do anything for either landline or cell phones.

Got a call from 919 342 2380,  No one there just musical notes...

919-342-2380 Cary, N. C. keeps calling. I don't answer. They don't leave a message. Would like them to stop.

Receiving calls from this number at least twice a day.  We previously blocked 919-342-2383, but they rolled over to the above number ending in ...2380.  When we answer, either hear music or dead air so we hang up.  The previous number ....2383 was someone asking if there was a diabetic in the house.  They did not identify themselves.  We gave them no information.

I just got a call from this number asking for my mother?  Then they hung up

I keep getting these calls, they hang up after 4 rings, calls coming from Cary, NC. Just another scammer.

I received a call today, not the first from this number. I too believe this to be a scam. In providing me with info about my medical condition (diabetes) they offered to send me a testing meter also. They asked for my doctor's which I did not provide. I do not give out personal information to unsolicited callers.

I have had over 90 text messages from this number and when I called they said my mastercard was in trouble and to reinstate it to dial 1 then it asks for the MC number. This is an auto dialer.  I can't stop it

I have received calls from this number and they never leave a message.  I also think this is the number that calls and asked about bme being diabetic.  I keep telling them to take my phone number off the list but I still get calls.   I have tried calling this number back and get a message that the number is no longer in service even though I had gotten a call from this number just a few seconds before.

Had several calls and finally answered.  A woman identified herself as Janet and asked for me by name.  Asked if I had received my diabetic supplies.  Told her I was not a diabetic.  She laughed and said that it was good that I wasn't.  Said goodbye and hung up.

I got a call from this number this morning calling me   by name wanting to know if I
check my blood sugar today, I  was surprised I don't have diabetic.I ask him how did he
get my name and number he through medicare list of names and he was during a survey.
I ask him if  they help people not on medicare, he said yes,I ask for his name and number,he
if I had caller ID it shows, then hung up.

Please stop this company from calling my number. I am disabled and it is difficult for me to even answer the phone,

Did not answer 919-342-2380 call from Cary, N. C. Looked up and found others getting call believed to be a scam, making reference to diabetes and free meters.

trouble, trouble, not a working #, no answer, do not give out any info if anyone speaks or request anything.

Called and asked for me by name. Said they had free health insurance information for me. Like I don't receive insurance info. every day already in the mail. Trying a new angle to scam now I guess. Wanted permission for an agent to call later. Sure, and I would never stop getting calls if I gave permission to call back. It's got to be a scam but without a call back number don't know how to report them. Just put them on speaker and don't say anything I guess.

Received a call from Cary NC, 1-919-342-2380. The twerp on the line asked for me by first name and if I was diabetic ! I answered with a question of my own: what business of yours is it ? He replies...just answer my question. He said he'll call back ...NO he wants, he's now on my reject list and ...Did I forget to mention I hung up on him !
I hate, people who don't announce themselves. I hate even more those who use my first name from the start: we never kept pigs together, so call me Mrs. !!!! Actually, don't call me at all if you are peddling ANYTHING !

receiving multiple calls from this number

I have been receiving calls from 919-342-2380 for about a week now.  When I answer, music comes on the phone but no person.  I, too, have called the number back only to hear a recording stating that the number is not a working number. I have internet services and phone service through one company, so I am wondering if my computer happened to be on and I would receive a call and answer it, could the people on the line be able to hack into my computer? Am I being paranoid about this or is anyone else thinking the same as me?

Just recieved a call from 919-342-2380 and asked for my husband by name.  Asking if he was a diabetic and I asked why would you want to know and how would you know?  The caller stated that he got the information from MEDICARE!  There it is!!!  Our medical information is being shared and that's why we are getting unwanted soliciation telephone calls.  Is there ANYTHING private and confidential anymore????????

I recieved A call from 919-342-2380 today 1-19-2012 @ 3:38 The man said he was from Medicare.Wanted to speak to the diabetic in the home.I told him we are both diabetic. He said he was checking to see if we were still able to recieve supplys from Medicare.I did not look on caller I.D until  I was ready to hang up.I tried the number it is not A working number.I hope they are caught and punished

A lady called from 919-342-2380 and ask for me by my first name. She wanted to know if I monitor my sugar level and I said yes, wanted to know if I have received a monitor, I say No, I had not ordered one, she hung up. I called the number back... but it was not a Working Number.
Since I do not have a problem with my sugar level this call seemed very strange. What type is this Scam is this?    I answered the call because I am familiar with the area code 919

thanks for this information. I've gotten about 6-7 calls. They hang up before I answer. I understand with computer driven calls, the computer dials 2-3 numbers and the caller talks to the first person to answer, hangs up on the rest.
