This scam company keeps calling me at my place of business and on my cell phone!  They are constant and I know this is a scam in reading the website.  I need for this to stop now, it could cause me to lose my job!!!!  Thank you.

Some foreigner who calls herself KELLY WATSON calling from the DFF investigations.  When I called back they said I owed a loan that I took out.  I know I didn't take this loan out.  She kept insisting that I have.  I asked for proof, which she said she could not provide to me.  She then started calling me a 'fraud' and threatening me.

This lady with very heavy accent called me at work stating that they had an investigation against me for fraud.  I told her i was at work and would call her back. I returned her call and she was very rude and hung up on me. I called her several times to try and resolve the alleged fraud allegations and got a busy signal.  
Do not give these people any information or money.

I recieved six voice mail messages from them stating there was a complaint against me and my social security number and if I didn't call back I would be in a big legal mess.

U.S. authorities report they have broken up a phone scam in which callers in India posed as debt collectors to bilk millions of dollars out of more than 10,000 U.S. residents.

Officials say callers used threats of arrest or the loss of their jobs, and that the first-of-its-kind investigation may have only uncovered the tip of the iceberg.

The investigation revealed that from 2010 to 2012, $5 million was paid in 17,000 transactions to accounts controlled by the alleged fraudsters. The targets included people who applied for loans by punching personal details into a payday site but whose applications were rejected, Federal Trade Commission official Steven Baker said.

Furthermore, more than 20 million calls may have been placed over the past two years, with collectors demanding between $300 and $2,000 per call.

A network tv producer is investigating online payday loan scams where victims are constantly harassed  by callers with foreign accents impersonating American lawyers or law enforcement who threaten them with arrest or judgments.

Specifically they are looking into American Credit Crunchers shut down by the FTC.

In the Credit Crunchers case, calls were made from Ahmedabad, India. Does anyone know how these call centers operate, and whether or not this case is just the tip of the iceberg?

Who are these people? What can be done about these uncalled for phone calls?

I too have received calls from this number and blocked numbers on my cell phone. It is a man with a heavy over seas accent. I have received these calls in the past from different numbers and reported it to the proper district attoneys office. They say that there is no company claiming to be bureua of investigations collecting debts. It is a scam.

Called my employer 2 times today. Making threats sayin i owe for some loan. My employer called to inform me of the calls. I had problems with fraud on my checking account. So i called my bank to inform them of this company and the calls from this number. Here they are the company who commited fraud on my account. They are under investigation by my bank and the pa district attorneys office. I call this number to speak with richard butler. I asked him not to call my employer or me anymore. And that my bank was investigating his company as well as my state da office. He no longer wanted to talk to me. I did however get from him that he works for a cash advance amd his office is in chaplin north carolina.  After many questions for him, he finally hung up on me. Dont let them push you around. They are scam artist. Tell them too take you too court and that they are being investigated.

My sister is having this happen to her, i went to spokeo and looked up the number, its from an unknown company in raleigh, north carolina. the guy keeps saying his name is jeffery scott, but he has a very heavy accent. Def. a scam...someone needs to stop this!

Been getting calls also. Say they've had a complaint about me and I'm gonna be in big trouble. Some guy who sounds like he's calling from Outer Mongolia but says his name is Joe Brown. Please!

I also recieved a call from 919-378-1437. I know this is a scam because I recieved calls from these people before. I ignore them damn con artist.

Funny...they call from all different numbers -- and ask for me: Nancy, Nancy Brown..is this you Nancy Brown?

I usually hang up . Today, they put me thru to a supervisor..ooo..I am so scared

I told the 'supervisor' Mr. Marshall that 'I googled your number, and it says you guys are scammers'...he said...

"You googled the number?, OK"...then he hung up! lol

THEY CALLED ME PEPEATEDLY SAYING THAT I TOOK OUT A LOAN FROM THEM AND DIDNT PAY. YHTE ALSO CALLED MY JOB REPEATEDLY. I KNOW THAT I DONT OWE THESE PEOPLE ANY MONEY. THEY HAD MY INFO SO I CLOSED MY ACCT.

If you pay them, as we did, the company name on the credit card statement is BINISH, INC. Also, check the many posts under 919-378-1439. They took us for $500, using a pre-paid debit card. Also, check the FBI's website under payday loan scams. If you have any info on what to do, please reply to this message. Thankyou.

This company is a scam. This woman that goes by the name of Elena Jones states I owe for a payday loan for $630.00. This was false. She stated I would be arrested and my social security # filed in a police report. And she was extremely rude. Not only that she violated the FDCPA Laws by calling me at 7:44 am(my time) which is illegal and she called my place of employment after I told her not to the first time. I am a debt collector/skiptracer and I am searching to find the name of this company or the connecting address to file a complaint.

Yea this same number called me 3 times today saying the same stuff about fraud or something its definetly a indian calling. This aint the first time i rfecieve this b***s*** they called from a new york number to months ago.

they called me for a payday loan for $300 online. i think they are overseas. I paid back more than triple that amount,.They told me I still owed over $600 in iinterest and fees and i set up a payment plan just because they were calling me over and over and over and over and threatning all sorts of things, yes, i know it is illegal but i need my job. dont ever get a payday loan onloine
