subscription request for the news and observer, raleigh , nc

I received a call fom this number, requesting subscription for the news and observer, raleigh, nc..Is it legitimate?

Did not leave a message. Re previous post from martha: it could very well be the N & O and "legitimate". I canceled my subscription less than a month ago, and so would not be surprised if they were calling with a renewal pitch...

I received call today.  I actually answer, because number looked legitimate.  But alas, no one from the other end responded to my hello.  After second hello, I hung up.  No call back, and will block this number for the future.

no message... has called me 4 times today!

Call came in, ID said "NORTH CAROLINA", number 919-424-6402.
Answered call.  Dead air, then hang up.

didnt say a word so i called them an XXXXXX...i would hope u can stop these calls. they have called before and i reported it

919 424-6402 called me today. Caller ID said, ""North Carolina." I didn't answer.
