I received a call from 9196479292 yesterday asking the whereabouts of my husband's ex-wife's stepmother! Go figure!!!!  How they got MY number is beyond me!!!  He hasn't had contact with that family in 13 years!!!  How do they get these numbers???

Received a phone call from this number today. The guy left a message stating that he was from United Recovery Systems and was attempting to collect a debt but he did not say what company was attempting to collect. Either way I blocked the number. :-)

Just got a call today but didn't answer.  Thought I would check here first.

Called 919-647-9292.  Answering machine claimed they were "United Recovery Systems"

This number called me at 9:00 EST looking for a couple I never heard of.  The guy was polite and a bit befuddled, (no more than I)--and said I was listed as a reference--in Great Falls, MT, a place I haven't lived in since the early 90's!  What was really weird is that the land line he used to call me is not registered in my name!  My partner uses it as his work phone.  So they (this company)had to do a bit of research to track me down using this number.  I find that very disconcerting and will be doing further investigation.  I assumed that it was a bill collection company. He was a bit illusive with the information.  He also mentioned that this was the second call of the day where the party said they had no idea who he was talking about.  I am registered on do not call registries, so I don't know how/why they contacted me, using a number they should never have had access.

I got a call from this number on December 6, 2011. The lady asked my name twice and then asked if I knew someone with the name Jenna Fleming. I have never heard of this name before.

Call from this requsting info on a third party

I live in the 919 area code in NC and received a call from 919-647-9292. The lady said she was calling from Houston, TX. Looking for a possible relative that lived in Buffalo, NY. Don't know the person they're looking for but I hope they stop calling.

Asked for " Dale " then my last name - told him I didn't know anyone by that name.  At least he was polite.

Called my cell phone several times and left no message. No debt but have had several cold calls for people from different agencies. I am starting to wonder if Sprint or Sears sold my number.

Asked for my husband.

Received a phone call from this number today and they asked to speak to my ex husband by name.  When I said "no " this is not his number the lady asked if I knew how to reach him, this is a personal matter!  No connection with my ex in 10 plus years and this number belongs to my employer.  WTF!

Tired of this.

Asked for someone who does not work at this office.  Hung up.  STOP calling this business NOW!!!

Caller was asking for a person by only a first name---then reluctantly---said she was Kelly , only after my insisting to know who was calling---she added her name was Kelly Young. then, attempting to be aggressive, she asked why I was being evasive. Realizing this was indeed a collections agency with multiple offices and numerous telephone exchanges: 919-697-9292; 888-505-1572 and 336-393-1085 , I let the phone drop back into its cradle. Truly irritating.

2 calls no message left, we have no debt so I dont know why they would be calling us, I will file a complaint with the gov't dont call list tonight

they called for my husband and just hung up on me!  i called back, and the manager was like "they called for (name) and he wasnt there".  so i said maybe they could explain who they are before they would hang up , and she was like "well i just told you" in a really snotty way.  so i was like, so i guess you are all rude, and i hung up....nice company!
