I got the same call today to turn myself in and call them asap, it was a man whose could hardly speak English and it freaked me the eff off!!!! How do people get away with this s***!

Just got a call from 911 but told me to call 9196533341. Indian lady by the name of something Mary calling from the CA State Police LA County about something taken against my name? I've had these calls before from several different numbers telling me to contact several different American named people but all sounding Indian. I was to call Officer Jon Murphy. If I did not or turn myself in an investigating officer will come down and arrest me. These jerks got me once before! I've learned this is a total scam. I wish they would just stop already!! Funny how they want me to call to LA County but the number they gave me is for North Carolina? Also, who would really believe a very thick accented Indian person would be named Jon or Mary?? When will these people stop!!!

Got the same call today from the number you listed 919-653-3341. Claimed to be from the Federal Crime Division. They were going to arrest me in a couple of days if I did not pay them $1,200. Told them this was a scam and the guy actually admitted it.

This number called my employer with a message to call Chief Deputy John Matthews.  It was a woman who called, but a man with an Indian or Pakistani accent answered.  He told me the county police would come in 30 minutes.  I told him I know this is a scam and my employer knows as well and to stop calling.  Apparently, they have cell phones from several different areas and use them to scare people.  I may have to get an attorney, but I don't think that will stop them.

they called and said for me to turn myself in for fraud at the local police dept they were california state police if i didnt then they would show up to my work place or home and the investigating task force will arrest me. i need to call deputy john harris at 919 653 3341 I turned in their number to the fraud dept

919-653-3341 called caller I.D. showed 911.  DO NOT ANSWER IT. caller says his name is Deeputy John Harris. and that I need to report to my nearist County Police Department. Ah DUH Police Department are City. County is Shariff. he wants me to turn myself in for Fraud.
