The number was from us.gov and the recorded message was stating that there was the possibility of a job available fitting my job description. I have not applied for any job with the employment security commission and do not receive unemployment benefits. I tried calling back to the number for several minutes and received a busy signal each time.

Received a call this morning from 919 733 5913. Called back several time........Day Greeting Logical Extension. You need a 4 digit extension to get through and I kept playing and couldn't get anyone. It's not a bill collector as we own no one!
I'm so sick of getting calls and no one on the other end-what is the point of these people calling if they aren't selling you anything???
I'm tired of it...maybe we should have our number made unlisted.

There are variations to this number and all show up as NC St Govt on caller id. I called the attorney general's office today and they are sending a form to fill out. Not a problem; however, the calls are coming more frequent, I am answering the call and the caller is hanging up. I called the operator and I called my local phone company. The best I could do is fill out a form. In the mean-time I will have the phone ringing and ringing and ringing. The various numbers are 919-733-0687; 919-733-0688; 919-733-5909

When I called the number back I got a recording saying:
Day Greeting Logical Extension and the Caller Id: NC ST GOVT
This phone number is UNLISTED. I feel that the NC state govenment's phone numbers are not unlisted so I think this is some kind of bill collector.
