Yeah right "Just tell them not to call you if you don't want them to" - several 'legitimate' firms just don't understand the word NO. Sageworks, Telpay, American Express to name a few.

Received a call from this company,  They asked to speak with Dawn,  when I replied "this is she" he then acted surprised and said Dawn (Last Name) and I said yes, and he hung up.   That's one way to get them off the phone quickly.  We have advised we do not want to be on their call lists  

Called my office this morning.  # came up on my phone as well as the company name.  Checked them out, it's Sageworks, headquartered in Raleigh, NC.  Legitimate company with a legitimate product.  Probably just their sales team doing the usual prospecting.  Surprised to get a call during tax season however, but who knows.  

Also, Sage is not to be confused with Sageworks.  Two different companies with different specializations.  

The company is Sageworks.  It is not the same company that owns Sage 50 (formerly known as Simply Accounting).  Sageworks had been calling me in the last three years.  I told them I don't need to use their software and not to call me again.  But they don't respect your answer and keep calling.  Annoying.

Sage owns Peach Tree as well as Simply Accounting. They also have ProfitCents probably the worst "professional" firm for harrassment.

Co. called me (I'm a CPA) - major provider of accounting software (own PeachTree), sell MAS (now Sage) accounting platforms.  Extremely reputable, albeit expensive.  Is for telemarketing, but industry based.  Just tell them not to call you if you don't want them to and they shouldn't.

I got a call from this phone number they are called Sageworks and I knew a few people that worked for them low pay, slave labor and of what I understand turnover rate is about 3 months. All in all a nightmare place to work and of what I know the software is really terrible and not worth the money at all.

This is a call from a very reputable company called Sageworks Inc based in Raleigh, NC which sells world class financial analysis software to the accounting profession and banking analysts.

They only give their name, never identify the company. Didn't expect a mainstream company to operate like a scamster. And they call again, and again, and again, and again, ................................

Sageworks is not Peachtree.  That is Sage Software, Inc.  Different companies, different sides of the country.

I have been on the do not call list, get calls two or more times a week.

It is Sageworks, Inc. which is the parent company of the well known Peachtree Software.  If you have Peachtree Software, they will call often trying to get you to upgrade your software.

This was a call from a company called Sageworks Inc., and they sell accounting, banking, financial analysis software. They are a reputable company, but I have retired since then (I was a CPA), so I don't need their software. I told them not to call me, and they haven't since. I did take a look at their website, and they seem legitimate. Typical cold call from a software company, not a big deal.
