i have had so many calls from this same company under various phone numbers.  646 568 7529, 720 903 7835, 575 613 7478 are a few.  this is totally unsatisfactory and this will be reported to the fcc

Ever since my 87 year old mother had gone through cardiac rehab several weeks ago I?ve been barraged with calls from numerous states purportedly offering a free medical alert system. I receive a minimum of 4 or 5 calls each day from the following numbers:

I have no doubt that this is a medical alert phishing scam
(see http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/personalf ... -alert/2397189/) and originates from a single source. I don?t know how these people obtained my unlisted cell phone number since the hospital?s disclosure of personal or medical information is a violation of HIPAA confidentiality, subjecting the violator to fines and penalties. Most medical care providers avoid this like the plaque.

My advice is to not answer the call and do not respond to these people in any way. Once they know your phone number is legitimate they will continue calling and may pass your number on to other scammers. It?s a PIA but I would also file a complaint with the FCC and Federal Trade Commission. The more complaints they receive the more likely they will launch an investigation.

I've been inundated with calls to my cell from various numbers but after reading through this site, I am guessing they are all from the same company - some medic alert thing.  Here are the numbers that have called:

i have received a phone call & voice mail from 9 different #'s with the same robo-call message in ONE DAY...one every hour from 7 am until 6 pm.  something to do with seniors medical alert system & security and 'peace of mind'.  Good god.  makes me want to scream.   #'s are 920--320-1960, 669-888-1428, 720-903-7835, 732-201-2428, 734-418-9006 and so on.

I'm middle aged and with no medical issues and i'm getting MANY of these calls

I am getting the same thing, Nov 4, 2013 and today Nov 5, 2013. All different numbers and different states. They never leave a VM

Received over twenty calls. Very annoying.

Have gotten 3 calls today, alone from odd states that I assume must be related. I have not answered any of them and since the new IOS7 update, with one swipe, I can block the number. However, that might be why they are calling from new numbers (if these 3 calls are related). Would seem to be they have to be since they all happened within 2 hours of each other.

I blocked my number and tried calling back and for all 3 numbers I get a very fast busy tone.

Collection agencies leave messages even if you have a message that says: you have called a number that is on the national do not call list if you are a telemarketer you need to hang up now etc" so this number is definately a telemarketer as no messages are left. It's why they call so much and leave no messages...at least on my phone... hence my assumption that it is a telemarketer.

Received phone calls from these numbers and more ... every 15 to 20 minutes between the hours of 11:30am and 6:48pm.  I wish I knew how they got my phone number.  It was bad enough when a person cold called now that it is all computerized it is even worse.  To roll through the various states in hopes you will answer the unidentified phone number.  What a waste of my time.

I've had multiple calls in  a day....... Strange thing is the last call was from my home town. So I hit the #1 key.... ask how they got my number...... person on the other end sounded like she couldn't speak English and started shouting at me.  I insisted that I get an answer to: How did you get my number????   She hung up! I'm in my seventies so I feel these calls for Medical Alerts may be directed to a specific age group and/or those with specific medical problems.  I'm on a DONOT call list, so I'm convinced  someone is giving out vital statistics about targeted citizens.   If I FALL the next time I go to answer one of these calls I will spend monies to locate who they are......   They should pray I never find them or who is giving out personal, private, and medical information.  They must have a good source in a high level position!  My next step is the FCC.

Wish I could find a way to have them call my ex-wife. That would teach them!

Receive several unwanted, unsolicited calls a day. Can't anything be done to stop this sick nonsense.

I'm averaging 9 calls a day from these numbers. Out of control. Don't know why they even stood up the DNC list. Such a wste of money. They do nothing.

I got a call from this number on Thursady  not just once but 2x and I never even heard my cell phone which was in my desk drawer but when I called the number back I got press any digit to be placed on our do not call list so I pressed a digit on my phone and the call was quickly ended with out my ever knowing if I was actually placed on a do not call list.

I fully agree as I have gotten no less than 14 different calls in the same day from New Jersey, California, Wisconsin, and I have not figured out where all else.  Utterly Annoying I fully agree.

Unbelievable. I'm quite sure this is related to other soliciting calls from Michigan and Kansas numbers, because they all call interchangeably during the same five to ten minute increment periods. UTTERLY ANNOYING.
