I get repeated calls from this number; I never answer, and no one ever leaves a message.

I think the 20 seconds of silence is subliminal messaging.  Ever since I started answering these calls, I have uncontrolable urges to watch paid programming while eating frozen vegetables.

The EXACT same thing happened to me.  I tried to call it back and it doesn't even identify who they are, if you press 1 to speak to an agent it says "your call is important to us, please hold for the next available agent" and then silently disconnects you so if you don't look at the phone to see you're no longer on a call you could just sit with the phone to your ear indefinitely.  WHY would any company do this?  What could possibly be the point?  Makes no damn sense...but I firmly believe that there should be a law that "Machines are not allowed to call people."  IMHO, that's half the employment problem in this country is that PEOPLE used to make phone calls and PEOPLE used to answer phones...now machines do it and NO, NOT NEARLY as efficiently...just cheaply, which is all the damn businesses care about anymore.  Screw quality...just maximize profits.  Disgusting (and destroying our formerly great nation)!

I got a call from this number. The caller ID said, "United Census". I answered, a gentlemen asked for me and I said yes and then he pretended not to hear me. He hug up. The voice had a foreigner sound to it. It was strange. This was the first time. You know... I am on the no call list and get alot of 1- 800 numbers who do not leave any message. It gets annoying to run to the phone and see these numbers...no id.

I am sick of ppl calling and harassing with these call, I answer this call, someone said hello and I said hello and they said hello and I said hello and then they hung up

Caller ID says "Avandia Alert" but nobody is ever on the phone. They call at least four times EVERY day. Never say anything. Never leave a message. When you call back, a recording just says "Goodbye." I wish there was something we could do to stop this.

We have been receiving these calls for a month. No one ever answers and I wish they would stop. Our caller id says "out of area".

I got three calls today and called back and told to

 wait for the next available againt and then music. NOTHING

Please stop calling me! I am sick of unwanted phone calls.  This number called me earlier today, and has been calling numerous times before with no messages left.

This number has called us numerous times in the past few weeks.  Initially the caller ID indicated "Green Bay, WI".  Today it indicated "AmeD Assist".  No idea who these people are.

I called back after getting a call on my cell 6 times in the last 5 days.  They claim to be a online ordering confirmation center.  Funny thing is that I have not ordered anything on line in a while, and also, I'm on the no-call list, so I don't know how they got my number.  First thing they want to know when you question them is your phone number.  Sounds like a scam to me.

I received a call from the 920-471-4274 number today, but I was unable to answer it.  I tried calling them back and an automated voice immediately kicked in saying "please hold for the next available agent."  I was involved in a scam called Google Cash Secrets Recently, and their number is 1-800-497-4988.  I am guessing that these two numbers are connected somehow.  I looked up the 1-800 number, and people were complaining of credit card fraud so I called my bank immediatley to have my account closed.

same number is calling me multiple times per day also.  I called it back and it doesnt exist.
