Called, left no message. suspect medical bill collection

I received a call from this number and called back, using a different number than the one they called. Oddly enough, someone answered the phone.  She was rude and unprofessional and wouldn't tell me who she was until I answered whether or not the number I called from was the number they called.  I indicated that I'd not share any information until I had some bit of information about who she was, but she laughed, acted like a silly teenager, and completely embarrassed herself.  I indicated that I'd be lodging a complaint (I believe this is Valley Collections, based upon the google map that popped up in the number search), so that's the name I'll be filing a complaint against.  Soliciting information without indicating who they are and what they want is not allowed, neither are harassing calls multiple times of day, that do not reply when answered! AND....I truly wonder how successful they are.  Harassing calls with NO actual communication?  They can't be recovering too much money, I'd guess!

I received this call this morning. No message at all. From reading the previous posts, I'm going to assume its this collection agency. I received a letter from them in the mail stating that I owe a small amount to my "creditors". To me, if I owed a legit bill (and I have had medical bills go to collections because I could not pay them off fast enough) it would say the name of the creditor. That's what the legit collection agency sent to me when my account was transferred over to them. Seems like they are a bunch of scammers trying to play on the embarrassment of having a bill with collections.

Called.. I answered and said "Hello"... they hung up. They want their money, they can try and come get it now.

They must just want to harass as they hang up when I answered the call after getting called 5 times in one hour!  They did leave a message once for someone who doesn't live at my number -- no luck telling them that as they choose to hang up all the time! Jack a lopes!!!!!!!!!!!  Perhaps I would be better off calling their clients and telling them of their so called collection techniques!  I would drop them like a lead balloon if I found out they were calling and hanging up on people who are not even responsible for the collection -- Do they EVER recover anything calling and hanging up on the wrong people?!?!? I seriously doubt it!

they call and ask for me, I ask who they are and they hang up on me!

They call about 7 times a day and leave no message - maybe if they left a message someone would call them back

it's fox valley credit system; debt collector.

I called this number back...it is a collection ctr of some sort...she said a "credit system"

all you have to do, is call a number back when you dont know who it is.
