unwanted call

I received a text message from this number - I called my bank and they said it ABSOLUTELY is a scam! If you call the 920-965-3011 is just says leave a message - DON'T DO IT - THIS IS A SCAM!

My wife got this call from Marietta, GA.  Number was 770-499-6355. I tried to call them with my work phone (land line)... went to voice mail.  His name was Roger Greiff I think.

I have no account with metabank.  All phones on our Verizon plan have www text blocked.  Called Verizon they said it must have been a "glitch"  still have to pay for the text, whether you view it or not.

I'm 13 and I got this same message. What the heck is going on here? I didn't do anything because I don't have a card that can be deactivated!!

I am little confused how they got my number also. I am seventeen, not even allowed to have a credit card and have no membership to any bank yet i got one. I have no intention of replying back.

i got a text from that "company" saying my card was deactivated.  the only card i have is my bank card and my bank does not have my cell number.  total scam.

Mine was from a 317 number as well, but I actually live here so I dont now what they are trying to pull.

I received it Jan 28 and I am not currently with any banks so I have no clue what this was about.

Sunday afternoon, 1.25.09, I received 2 phone calls within an hour of each other stating it was MasterCard calling about my card ending in 0930. They wanted to inform me that i qualified for a $60 voucher as a courtesy for being a MasterCard holder. I told the guy I was unconfrotable with the call and that it was a checkcard and no bank would be calling on a Sunday, so i hung up on him. an hour later i received another call from a lady about my MC - i told her I thought she was part of a scam, to take me off the list, and that only my back should be calling me about my card - not MasterCard. They just wanted to confirm my address....if you are my bank then you already know my address.
Tonight, 1.26.09 I receive a text from www.spamass3.serve.com. My phone gave me the options to view now, view later, or delete. I pressed view now and my phone started to go on-line. Since I do not have that type of package I stopped it immediately and found this website. I do not know what the call back number was, but will be informing my bank, which is a Credit Union (I read something at the top that stated they also had a credit union) tomorrow, since all credit unions are a part of a network, do you think the CU computer databases have been compromised? I will posted what my bank recommends oor even if there is a current investigation. I will close my account immediately if there is a security breach.

I recieved the same thing they indicated that my card has been deativated and to call and reactivate. It claimed to be Financial Center FCU. They sent it at 9:00 PM seriously whos bank would text message them. I called the number under *67 and it rang once and hung up on me. Its a scam look out!!

i'm under 18 and don't even have a credit card. i hope they don't message my parents. it makes me nervous when people try to scam us

My text said Fiance Center FCU Alert: Your CARD has been DEACTIVATED, please contact us at 317 947 4800 to REACTIVATE your CARD.

I called it back and had no clue what card it is.
I will be calling my bank & Verizon Wirless tomorrow.

I GOT A CALL AND SO DID MY HUSBAND AND IT WAS THE CORRECT BANK AND LOCALLY IN OUR TOWN. SCARY. WE THOUGHT MAYBE AT FIRST SINCE WE BOTH GOT THE TEXT THAT OUR CARDS HAD EXPIRED BUT THEY DIDN'T AND THEN I THOUGHT ABOUT IT AND WHO'S BANK WOULD TEXT THEM INFORMATION LIKE THAT AND AT NIGHT AT THAT. ARE THEY TRYING TO STEAL OUR IDENTITY OR GET OUR BANK INFORMATION? PEOPLE BEWARE, I'M CALLING MY BANK

I got this too.
It actually had the correct bank, and correct beginning #'s on my card!

www@spamass3.serve.com just texted messaged my company cellphone, stating my credit union card was deactiveated and to call an 800 number to reactivate... this is a scam.  I am certain the text message will be charged to my account.

This number keeps calling me and I've told them to remove me from their call list several times

ya i got one two, i don't even have a card, except for like my student id card, so i don't know what they're trying to do,  its really stupid actually, they should try to target people who they could actually get money off of, instead of minors,   anyway, the call back number for mine was 541-306-6480, which is a local number,   WHO KNOWS!!!

got a txt from www@spamass3.serve.com saying "Your CARD has been DEACTIVATED. Please contact us=" it said to call 260-399-6767. I knew it was a scam and called from another # and got a msg the the FCC has deactivated the line bc it was part of a scam.

I also received the same message on my cell phone.  Thanks for the information everyone, I simply erased the message and hope to not get any more.

Just got the same message. Same number to reply only the last 4 digits were 5020. Everyone who gets these should warn their friends and family not to respond. Some people get sucked in and robbed.

received a text stating that my capitol one card had been deactivated and to reactivate call 801-649-5030

Received the following text message:
Capital One Alert: Your CARD has been DEACTIVATED. Please contact us at 801-649-5030 to REACTIVATE you CARD.

Called Capital One just to be sure, this is definitely fraudulent. They don't even have my cell phone number on file.

i just recieved a text saying that my bank card has been deactivated.i need to call 15638238800. what is this?

Got a text on Dec.1st  Saying my card had been deactivated... I got this one, too, on Nov. 30. Confused me. No way I'm calling it though. My card works fine.

my husband does not even have a bank account

their number was 828-318-8622. they will suffer large if they continue with this attemt to do whatever it is they are attempting to do!

i just now received this very same text with an 828 NC phone number! how did they get my number? they texted my wife minutes later while she sat next to me. how odd is that? who are these people and what do they want!!!
