i got a call from 925-235-1134 in California and got this name from them option to take me off the list is disabled and hangs up and you would think i company would have this working

"Insurance Placement Center the name Michael" gave me when i called back

I am on the no call list, when you call the number it has a recording that says press 1 to be connected to sales or press 3 to be taken off the call list, when you press 3 it says not a valid extension.They say they represent State Farm

I didn't pick up left a voice mail saying "DMV records indicate you are over-paying for auto insurance..." which is a complete lie, I have near perfect driving record and I am with AAA with a rate so cheap more other insurance companies cannot even come close. I would suspect this to be a scam or some other attempt to phish for information.

DMV records don't indicate insurance status. Scam or just unethical sales...same thing to me. Hung up and will not answer next time.

I received a call from this company on my cell phone although I have a blocked cell phone.  When I called them back to ask how they got my phone #, they hung up.  I called several times and they just hung up on me as soon as the call was re-routed from the initial phone # I called.  Definitely a scamming service.

I just started getting calls from this number as well.  Definitely scam.

this call came from a landline in Moraga Ca...somehow they have obtained my cell phone#...the message made a reference to the DVM registration......is the DMV selling our info???.

After reading your comments I known that this was fishy. I didn't pick up I IMMEDIATELY declined.

I'm getting calls from them too and I have to pay by the minute!

I don't know who this is or why they are calling me but they need to stop. I'm on the Federal Do Not Call registry, there is no reason they should be contacting me. If you won't leave a voice message, do not call me!

This is a phishing identity theft ring. I didn't answer but called back. It was automated and they said something about insurance. I immediately hung up. Beware. These scammer are relentless. Do not give out any info. If possibable open a bank acct w/a false ss #.

I finally called back--been receiving calls from them for the last 3 months--automated voice regarding insurance.  The last time, they called three times in a row and when answered, they just hang up.
