I received the exact email as Cat today. There was no name addressed to it, no reference #, no case #. I blocked my id and called the number...."ACS" Legal Group" answered, and I hung up. I have never had an account with Advance Cash Services and would like to know how they get my email address. It seems to me there should be a reference or case # to go by. Maybe I will block my ID, call them back and give them a fictious name and tell them they sent me an email, then see what info THEY give me.

I received an email today and when I called the number given whom ever answered couldn't give me any kind of information.

I did also recive this message via email. and I also feel this is a scam. I asked for more info without giveing my name or anyother info i will see if I get an anwser.

I called on 6/29/2012 and the recording said the person you are trying to reach is not here. She sounds British.

Received an e-mail said I owe 567 but if I don't see below. I never had Advance Cash Services.
Your delinquent account with Advance Cash Services has been referred to my office for collection action. You are currently several payments behind on the above referenced account. The total outstanding amount on this account is $567.45.
I have been instructed to bring legal action against you as may be necessary, which may result in Judgement.
The file indicates that you have failed or refused to pay the above claim even though it appears just, owing, and correct.
You are hereby further advised that if payment is not received within 2 business days of the date of this letter, suit in small claims court may be commenced against you forthwith and without further notice for the amount indicated above, together with prejudgment interest.
