I called this number back and finally got an answer after about 20 rings. LDB 2008 is apparently the offices of Lincoln Diaz-Balart, Congressman from Florida. Or more likely a telemarketing/telecampaigning company in California that is making calls for them.

Yes, I'm in Miami. I've been getting calls from this number also.

In Homestead, Fl. Saw the unknown number on the caller-id, didn't pick up, but it was followed up immediately by another call Boise, Idaho 208-327-1751. Perhaps a bad coincidence?

I received this call today 9/17 at 3pm.  I don't respond to long distance calls that I don't recognize but my caller ID showed their name as LOB 2008.  Does anyone know what the heck that is?

Same story, when I answer my phone nobody is on the line and I'm also in Miami.

I receive calls from this # 1-925-281-6403 . This needs to be stop or I will also seek from Florida Laws and representatives in this case which is waking up not only us, adults, but children and babies. Is a tremendous abuse that has to stop right away.

This number has appeared dozens of times on my caller ID in Miami. If someone knows how to stop them, let us know.

I live in Miami and am getting calls from them too.  They are very secretive when you call them back.

Usually calls twice a day, arround 6:00pm & 9:00pm PST, but won't leave a message on an answering machine.

They call EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!! Its ridiculous!!!

I have been receiving calls from these jerks for several months now at all times of the day and it seems as if they are calling with more frequency every day. It is to the point now where they are calling at least tem times a day and sometimes they will call 3 times in a five minute span. If anyone knows of a way to make them stop, please let us know. Thank you.

This to happened to me. they called me at around 11:30pm and at 12:40am.

Yesterday, december 4th I received 5 calls from this number they started around 4:30 pm and the last one was at 1:36 am, it's really frustraiting when you pick up the phone thinking that something happened and there's no answer; so I called back that number today in the morning and a lady pick up the phone :" Good morning, how can I help you", no name , no company name, nothing that could explain the calls, so I told her that I was returning a call that i  received at 1:30 in the morning and she asked for my phone number, then she said do you want them to call you back or you want your number deleted from the database, then I asked her but what is this?, and she just just said :"oh, it's a cable company", and I told her to please delete my number from that database, that I didn't want to receive any calls from them specially at 1:30 am and then she just hang up on me.
I just want to know what kind of cable company do their business at that time.

The same thing. I pick up, no repsonse. They have called at at 1:20 AM!
What we can do to stop them !!!

Last night I received 3 calls from this #. One at 12am, 1:30 and at 3am. When I answered noone responded. This is completely infuriating. I'm also in Miami, and this type of harrasement is completely unacceptable.
Has this happened to others on one night, or will the calls continue?

I've recieved several of these calls today, and the last one being just minutes ago around 130am.
Each time noone would seem to be there, but when I stayed on the line I could hear them trying to hang up, I stayed on the line until a recording came on. If you would like to make a call please hang up....when I dialed this #, after several rings a recording would come on saying that all lines are busy at this time....its very strange these calls, I'm relieved to find out that I'm not the only one that this is happening to.

Hello all I am also getting these annoying phone calls and had enough. So I did what I do best and investigagted the source and was able to get information on who the owner of that number is and have also found out it is being rerouted to an answering service. The number may have a california area code but the address is in Miami. Probably using IP Phone or some internet phone service. Name of comoany and address is

These people are calling me at 1 AM!  Apparently it's a California number.  What is going on?

I receive calls from this number daily.  When I pick up I get no response and when I call it back I get a recording.
