This number was just the latest in a series of several calls from Pittsburgh location.  Typiocally we answer, say "hello" and then there is no response, just a hang-up.  Happens from other numbers as well; they usually show as being from Oakland or Concord.

Keep getting calls from this number....how can I make it stop.  Already have our number on the do not call list

Receive calls from this number twice per day.  No one says anything then there's a beep.

The number was probably spoofed (i.e., faked).  See this article in Wikipedia for more information:

This call is from A1 Solar Power, a solar company based in Van Nuys, California (with six branches throughout the state: San Diego, Costa Mesa, Carpenteria, Petaluma, Concord, and San Jose) or one of its telemarketing fronts.  

A1 Solar Power?s telemarketing fronts usually spoof both the Caller-ID name and the Caller-ID number or use recently disconnected numbers.  Occasionally, they will spoof the active number of an unsuspecting victim.

The same thing happens to me.  I don't understand how it's possible to receive calls when "the number is no longer in service."

Received call from this number. No one talked on the other line. Sounded like robot call. When I called back it said the number is no longer in service. I need this to stop! Tell me how.
