Its because your a w***e

Started this morning at 8:15 am, have gotten 7 calls since then and its only noon!!!  I asked to be removed from list, was asked why, I said well first of all its none of your business, second I NEVER solicited any type of quote as no one can touch the rate I have. She then said she would remove me, and it would take one full business day to remove me. Whatever.

I would think reporting to the FTC.

Enough of those, then people will be investigated.

I got a few calls from this number in the past few days. The time I call back, the phone line is disconnected, but I don't hang up the phone because Im just confused and listening and trying to understand why its disconnected, and a few seconds later the dial re-rings and someone picks up saying their name all fast, and that its an insurance company asking if I was so-n-so. I said no and they said thank you and hung up. I was bedazzled..

What the heck does that mean?

Guy keeps calling. Says someone is suing me for $200 over a car loan.  Says he's an "officer" but no more info about himself.  Asked if I want to counter-sue. Had all my personal info including my SS#!! He is relentless.

I have received five messages from a person calling from a call center in the East San Francisco Bay Area reporting that I filled out a request for an insurance quote from insurance.com.  I did not fill out a request and I would not have given them my cell phone number.  I told the last person that called me that I was going to report them to the police for harrassment if they didn't stop, hung up on me and called right back again and hung up when I answered.

This number is calling me too.  What a waste of valuable time and energy.  I only checked into it because I have relatives in the area.

Just got a call from that number.  I didn't answer.

Sounds good to me. I'd like to record on video one of these calls and post it on youtube.

I think is funny how some of these relentless people get what they deserve when they push past the limit.

Same here, this number calls, & I don't pick it up, but they call everyday at around the same time.

Just got a call from that number.  I didn't answer.  Kids, I remember back, when the phone rang, there was no caller ID or displayed number.  You simply answered the phone and whoever was on the other end.  Thank God for caller ID and displayed numbers!

No you can block all numbers not in you contacts, all private numbers, and suspicious spam. So once you do that then anybody that's not in your contacts will get pushed straight to voice mail. You can even make yourself available and unavailable if you don't feel like being botherd with anyone.

Yes there is. If you have a android / smart phone then there's a app in the Google play store called Mr. Number it blocks all them unwanted calls great app

I'll have to look at it. I have the feature on my smart phone, but not sure how many I can block. I here only six.

Got a call from this number a month ago so I called back from a different number and they hung up lol. Its the same people that calls from a 1800 number 1866 and so on. I use to get mad now I just laugh cause they can't get through. I found this app in the Google play store called Mr. Number. It blocks all them unwanted calls you don't want to see. Its a great app I recommend it to everyone that thang go!!

yeah -- me too!  I made a note of their last calls to me and it was a few days ago.  The morons called twice today, and of course left no message.  Luckily I was at work.  I'll dutifully report these calls too, but it does no good.  I gotta get that call blocking device.

They have been calling the past month now on my personal cell phone of which I do not have many minutes on.  I do not pick up numbers I do not recognize.  Apparently I am not the only being harassed.  If they don't get it is there a way to block these phone numbers?

Well after about four days of no call (except from one associated number previouslly blocked), I got two calls at about 10:58am PT.

i'm courious on how long it will take for them to call from another number. When they do, just like my very first comment on the page, I will alert everyone here.

After two day they tried to call at 10:48am PT this morning. Seems like the calls are slowing down, but that usually means there's another number coming.

Some caught off guard or probably haven't been aware of all the telephone scams that have circulated for the last 6 or so years. Mostly a small percentage though compared to the number that do know.

For as long as this and all the other scams have been around and often repeated in an incessantly relentless manner then each of the stupid scams both become widely well known and extremely old fast  :-)

I've heard pretty much all that have been around over these last 6 years and haven't fallen once for any of them. Perhaps for those that might not be aware ... word of mouth and informing might help!

But yea, these same idiots behind this (and all the other scams) don't quit with their illegal harassing scam calls, that's why it's a good idea never to pick up/answer the phone when they call with an unknown and obviously spoofed number ... same as pressing a number ... they know they got a working number and won't stop and will pass it on to other a-hole scammers!!!

THIS NUMBER NEEDS TO STOP CALLING EVERY DAY AND EVER 30 MINS. AT FIRST I WAS NICE TO TELL THEM TO STOP CALLING ME. THEY CALL ME WHILE I AM AT WORK AND ALL THE TIME ABOUT CAR INSURANCE WHICH I DID NOT DO ONLINE WHICH THEY SAID I DID WHATEVER IT IS IT IS A DAM SCAM.

I wish you were right that all people are not stupid enough to fall for all the telemarketing and scam crap!  If so, then all these morons would be put out of business!  Hopefully the general public will continue to get smarter about all these scams, as these idiot telemarketers stay dumb :-)

Two more calls from them this morning, the latest one at 1131 am.  As a rule I never answer calls from numbers I don't recognize but this time I did answer and shouted " STOP CALLING ME!"  I'm sure that will make no difference but it made me feel better, at least for a minute :-).

Apparently also a recycled one from 6 years ago. As the saying goes ... there's nothing new under the sun!

What these brainless idiotic cowards don't get is we're not lame enough to willingly answer a supposed call from an unknown number especially if it's from an area code where we've never done business and even more so if it's a spoofed number on top of that (the area code is the only legit part, the rest - even including the 3 number exchange - is all made up), and it's a pre-recorded message, robo-dialers are used, and usually VOIP services is used and the number can be traced to IP addresses!

Apparently these idiots can't see a 1/2 inch past there nose and fail to see that we won't fall for their bs .... especially if it's as old as it is. They're the fools!!!! And desperate hapless ones at that!!!!
