This number continues to call me even after I placed my home phone on the DNC list. When I answer the phone, there is a dial tone. I have tried a few times to redial the number, but get nothing. Today, I finally got through to a "Mike" with ADD Security Systems. I told him that I was on the DNC list & I am filing a complaint with the FCC (which I did).

This number calls from Danville, CA and it is very annoying, there is no answer and you cannot call it back. This started as soon as I got a new home phone. I stopped answering because it might be charging me.

Calls twice a day and no answer when you answer. Just dial tone !

I received call on home phone today in Perth Amboy, NJ; did not answer. Waiting for call from Maintenance for my apartment so I called number back thinking it was Maint guy's cell no. Received the following recording. " The number you have dialed requires an access code. Please hang up and dial again using the access code." Unbelievable!

If you don't recognize the number....DO NOT ANSWER IT. All these people do is get a known good number then sell it to the scammers across the hallway. Get a good phone system and blocked these A...H...s. Reporting to FTC or DNC is a wast anymore....

I have asked them to stop calling but they wont its everyday several times a day.

These people call all day long will not take no for an answer even when talking live they just then through you into robo calls so its very deliberate harassment. I have gotten as many as 9 calls in less then four hours in one day.

Didn't have this problem with home phone through Time Warner, but switching to Windstream I was immediately eaten alive by calls selling ADT services.  11-15 calls per day missed while at work, and all different numbers of independent contractors, and weekends are all day long for two weeks now.   I can't turn it off because my 86 year old mother is in hospital, but I've been reduced to screaming, cursing and telling them they need the security system if I ever find them; then I hang up and feel like a total idiot.

Have received 5 calls in 3 days of having phone connected when you reverse the call says number is not in service...BIG Surprise!!! Filing complaint with the FTC and FCC, these criminals need to be stopped. Apparently they have a total disregard to the DNC rules and regulations.

Guy with a heavy Indian(?) accent wanted to sell me security services over the phone.  Yeah, I'll bite on that.  The DNC list is a joke. Like with most of what they do, the politicians enact meaningless laws like the Do Not Call Registry, then strut around telling us what a great job they're doing while no one enforces violations of the law.  Next time one of these telemarketers calls you, tell him you're busy right now and to call you at home.  Then give him your congressman's home number.

These criminals never give up.  After a hiatius of about six months, these criminal scum are renewing their harassment of the general population, seeking to exploit with their illegal activities.  Keep reporting to FTC, maybe those eunuchs will eventually grow a pair and actually do something to enforce the law and protect the consumers from these scammers.

Company selling Security Systems.  It's a scam.

Received a call from this number and they left no message and there was no answer when I called back.

They called several times to which I never answered, however to day I thought ok, I will answer and of course no one was there, when I called them back it said the number had been disconnected. Yea sure!!! Call came from Danville, Ca.

DNC listed from the beginning.. But that hasn't stopped these scammers from calling five(5) times over the last four(4) days..  Thanks to 800notes and google, the last 4 attempts are just log entries, (calls were blocked)..

You're dealing with a spoofed number- this is why the government is losing the battle against them.  They don't have as good technology, manpower, or money to track and shut these people down.

Also, by answering a number calling you that you don't know you are letting scammers know they've reached a "live" working number.  Your number then gets shared.

Got a couple of calls with a very thick accent asking for the "lady of the home"...  wanted to offer me security systems.  Told them politely that I'm not interested, asked to remove the number.  we'll see.  (home based biz that can't "not" answer the phones...)

I have voice mail and caller ID. I will not answer the phone if I don't know who it is. The caller left no message.  I am on the 'DO NOT CALL LIST".   It seems we are getting more and  more of these illegal calls.

I didn't answer, so they left me a message.  It was a political activist looking for candidates in my area who oppose fracking.

They don't get it. Who are they and where are they? Seems to be a lot of innocent people shot these days. I would suggest that we offer ligitimate targets to help the crazies do something constructive. Identify and post the enemy and the problem may self resolve. Yep, I'm mad enough to support vigilante response. Positively identify the enemy and post them. DNC was a waste of time and money. Worth a shot.
