I received a text message from this number " Hey, (my name), you there? I haven't seen you in a while. I replied with:
"Who is this?"
They replied:
"lol if you wanna know who this is you gotta add me on Y! msger, my id is txtiechikie89"
I said I didn't have Y! Messenger, and they didn't reply.

I texted three responses on three different days asking who sent me the text but received no response. I think someone was trying to verify my phone number and ownership.
The 965 exchange on the 925 area code is generally sold to call centers. I have seen it come up related to other business call centers in the past: (925) 965-xxxx.
