I saw the number a few times this week on caller ID without a message being left.  Since it goes to a local cell phone I answered just now, and there was the standard gap before a live voice came on asking for my spouse by first name. I didn't respond, and the person disconnected right away.

Because it was a local number I called it.  Phone rings to "Donor Services Division", acording to message, and the message goes on to say that they have been helping charities and non-profits.

So now these folks who are undoubtedly keeping a too-large share of contributions for themselves are spoofing local numbers to get us to answer.  Worked with me.
