no one on the other end

This is some sort of tellemarketer. There is no answer on the other end when you pick up the phone and then a recording comes on about speaking to the owner.

Just got a call from this number with a recording asking for the owner of the business...

I get many of "these" calls. People (stupid telemarketers) think my number is a biz #. NOT! two years of this is enough. The National Do Not Call list does NOTHING. They will not enfoce the law and I keep trying. HELP

I got a call from 928-543-6602. Did not answer.

Asked if resident was home then hung up.

I believe I have I know why these numbers change.  I believe that the merchant funding company hired a mass marketing/telemarketing company to make their calls.  These operations are manned by temps from a temp agency.

The corporate # is 1-954-423-3700.  Clog their phone lines!

I received another call from these people this afternoon.  I pressed 1 to try to talk to a human but all I got was some telemarketer who didn't seem to understand  - Take me off your list - or Let me speak to a supervisor.  I followed the suggestion from this blog and callled th corporate offie and spoke to Penelope.  She said she would remove me from the list by tomorrow.  I have also changed the ring tone for this number so I can track the number of calls from this organization.

Ray Again. I then went further and was going to report them to the Better Business Bureau. Guess what business name comes up with their Plantation address? EXTENDED AUTO WARRANTY, LLC. So my first analysis that they must be related to the extended auto warranty folks was correct, they are one in the same.

I have had to call her twice.  She is very nice.  Be nice to her.
She said it should have worked the first time I called, but sent it again.

I called the number 954-423-3700 and spoke with Penelope. I told her punching 2 does not get you removed and asked to be removed. She said she would take care of it. I then asked her for the name of the company. She said it was Federal Merchant Funding, out of Florida, and their website is www.federalmerchantfunding.com, but they do not list an address). I asked her why the call came from Arizona, and she said they come from many states, that they are trying to get that fixed (Yea!)
I then went to the Florida Department of State, Division of Corporations, and entered this name. It came back, as an active corporation, at 1868 North University Drive, Suite 304, Plantation, FL 33322, with a mailing address of 126 Janelle Blvd., Parsippany NJ, 07054, and a registered agent of James D. Tittle, at 11382 Prosperity Farms Rd. Bldg. F, Suite 222, Palm Beach FL 33410, and the principal is Stephen J. Shapiro at the Plantation address above. Now let's see if my number is actually removed from their computer.

These guys call via computer offering loans to your business, and when you hit 2 to be removed from their solicitation, all you get is more calls. Today I punched 1 to talk to them, and they told me they were Allied Capital, and when I started to ask questions, they said, Hey, we are the ones giving away the money here, and hung up on me. I would avoid them at all costs. They seem related to the guys who call about your auto warranty expiring.

Got a few calls from a 928-543-6602 number over the past month. I answer with no response. Now I see why.

Pressing 2 to be removed does not work.  I just filed yet ANOTHER complaint with the national do not call registry.  This %&@&ing company is like fleas.  They spoof caller ID and when you talk to someone and tell them to remove you, they hang up on you.  Typical new yorkers.  Kiss my (_o_) and I hope you get shut down!

did not answer ...   allowed it to go to answering machine. nothing was recorded..   I have received so many of these calls, I no longer answer 'unknown' etc. that I do not recognize. Am getting daily, sometimes several a day..  extremely annoying!!

These guys are true sleazeballs. They also use the name First Allied Funding. They have been calling me for MONTHS! They will not go away. They have burned through several phone numbers and keep changing them often.

They sure do. They change numbers every few days, and they are all caller id spoofed. If you call the number back, it is disconnected. The only real number is 954-423-3700.
