I just got another one of these varient phone # calls. It only came up as 92852 on my caller ID. They tried to sell my wife some compuer anti-virus or some garbage, the caller barely could speak english....she told them to take her off their list.....this has to be a scam....beware !

Not only do I get regular (unwanted) calls from this number, but when I answer they say nothing at all. And I don't even know how they're allowed to call me since my number's on the do-not-call registry.

Received a call from this number. They stated they wer Web Media (who ever that is) I told them ther person they were calling was not home. They wouldn't leave a message and said they would call back later. Needless to say we will never be home to them. Evidently a telemarketer.

Consumers nationwide say they lost hundreds or thousands of dollars to telemarketers who took their credit card information in exchange for promises of future business income. Some of the complainants are from the St. Louis area.
Many complaints involve companies based in or near Phoenix, Ariz. The businesses include Web Media, Web Media Blogging, ITech Financial Group, Web Media Malls and UPG Marketing.
An attorney in the consumer protection office of the Arizona attorney general called the Phoenix region ?the Silicon Valley? for Internet investment schemes. She said complainants often claim to have lost $40,000, $50,000 or more.
Michelle Corey, BBB president and CEO, said the companies typically prey on seniors and the unemployed, who may be vulnerable to high-pressure sales pitches.
?These callers can be very convincing,? Corey said. ?They know exactly what buttons to push to get your credit card number. Don?t fall for it.?
Corey said the schemes often work because the consumers have limited knowledge about the Internet or computers.
A 70-year-old woman from Wentzville, Mo., who uses her computer only to play Solitaire, says she paid Phoenix-based Web Media Malls more than $16,000 earlier this year after a salesman told her he could set up two online stores for her.
?They said I wouldn?t have to worry about anything,? said the woman. ?They had me so confused that by the time I got done, I didn?t know what I was doing.? She said she has received no income from her investment and has been unable to contact the business.
An unemployed man from Sunset Hills, Mo., said he lost $14,000 to Web Media in a credit card processing deal. He said he invested in the business because he was desperate.
?We were going to lose our house,? the Sunset Hills man said.
A woman from New London, Iowa, says her father, a retired truck driver, lost more than $80,000 to Web Media and other companies that sold him Internet business services. The Internet sites included an online store to sell a fuel additive and another promoting crime scene investigation tools. Because of the losses, the daughter said her father could lose his trailer home. He also has talked of suicide, she said.
An unemployed woman from Lexington, S.C., said she paid Web Media/ITech Financial $9,600 to set up a Web-based store that would generate cash for her with a minimal amount of work. ?I can?t tell you how much I have beaten myself up,? she said. ?I thought I was much smarter than this.?
The Phoenix BBB has received numerous complaints about Internet investment schemes in recent years.
Records with the Arizona secretary of state show that Web Media Blogging also does business under the trade names ITech Financial Group and Web Media Malls.
The records identify Rashied Arekat of Phoenix as company manager and Brian Christianson of Phoenix as a member. Arekat told the BBB last week that he did not know he was manager of Web Media Blogging and has nothing to do with the company. He also said he does not know Christianson. Arekat said his name may have been used because he knows a relative of Eli Rabadi. Arekat said Rabadi is an official of Web Media Blogging.
A spokesman for Web Media Blogging also identified Rabadi as an executive with the company. Rabadi is listed in Arizona corporations records as a member of UPG Marketing. Attempts to reach Rabadi were unsuccessful.
Web Media Blogging has not responded to BBB questions.

Did online reverse number check, and as others discovered, found it was a number likely located in Arizona (Sedona, Cottonwood, Cornville), Prescott metro area, or Yavapai County. I could find out the subscriber but would have to pay a fee, which I did not want to do.
So, I called the number on my land line (blocking my caller ID, of course) and got the same result as Peggy did on October 18th (it went to an extension's voice mailbox full, etc). This tells me several things: the phone number is part of a group allocated to a single organization, with DDI through a private digital exchange or similar, and the person who called me has had so many people calling that the voice mailbox is full ... and, of course, nobody checks the mailbox because it's used for telemarketing crap.
Any more, I shall report it to the FCC. It might not achieve anything much except my own personal satisfaction. But short of strolling around to the building that this gang operates from and giving somebody (a) verbal advice as to the unwanted nature of their product and (b) if necessary, a good slapping, that's the limit of my ability for now.
I could just not answer it any more, and that is probably what I shall do because anything more than this is not worth the effort for these b*****ds.

I have received 6 calls from this number today (928-852-3735). They did not leave a message. When I called that number, I received a recorded stating that the person at mailbox #705 is busy please leave a message, then immediately she said "sorry that mailbox is full and cannot accept any more messages". The recorded voice never announced where I called. My caller ID read Cornville, AZ.

Have been receiving calls from this number...Caller ID lists it in Sedona, AZ. A person (man) leaves a message for me and uses my nickname (thereby making me feel it is someone who knows me). The voice sounds somewhat agitated. In one message left today I could hear business in the background and the words Mastercard/Visa and then a man talking and the person on the phone told them I wasn't home to which the person in the background replied "Ok." My husband tried to call the number and got a busy signal of sorts. A few minutes later the person called again and when my my husband answered they hung up immediately.

Wil--this number calls along with520-423-6575 & let the phone ring for 3 times & hang up--leave no message--they are scammers out of Arizona. Do not answer or reply to their phone calls.

Received a call yesterday (10/5/2011) and another one today, both right after lunch. I answered yesterday as I have relatives in AZ but nobody was on the line. I did not answer today. Caller ID shows Sedona, AZ. I will NOT answer again, so QUIT CALLING.
I am on the Do Not Call List, but that doesn't seem to matter.

The person identified himself as Larry from ? Media Systems. I don't know who he was and I hung up because he called me by name and it creeped me out.

They just called at 11:50 am MST. They did not leave a message, but my searching showed that it was from the Sedona, AZ area. I couldn't find any other info on them, except that it was a land line.

THEY'VE BEEN CALLING ME FOR A MONTH STRAIGHT!!! EVERYDAY 3 TIMES A DAY.
