Received a call on 4/25/14 said we were such a good Directv customer they were giving us Starz for free no strings attached.

The message from David helps. We have Direct TV. They call a lot during the whole day. I just ignore it & let it go to the machine. I don't want to hear about movie packages. It is football season.

I suggest that you send a letter to them via certified mail (keep a copy for yourself) and tell them in writing you already have their services and they should cease and desist calling you and you want your number placed on their, as well as their affiliates internal DNC list.   This way they have been told and can't deny they didn't get it (sending regular mail this is always the excuse made).

Then if they continue to call, you can file a complaint with the FTC & FCC.

And of course, you can buy a call blocking device or phone. The T-lock Incoming PRO Call Blocker sells for under 60 bucks on Amazon and can block up to 1500 numbers. Amazon has a nice selection of call blockers and some phones.

They keep calling me too, and someone stays on the line, but usually no one talks. When I call the # back, to get on the do not call list, I get a busy signal. Frustrating. I already have Direct TV. How do I block their calls?

This number has called me a couple times......I already had it blocked....so I never spoke to anyone............I do not get blocked calls..........I have NO time for useless companies trying to solicit their CRAP!

I already have direct tv they keep calling me and hanging up, if they do it one more time I will cancel my direct tv.  I'm getting tired of it.

They call every day then call back as unknown   They SUCK!!!

TERRIBLE example of SPAM calling--call twice a day EVERYDAY. No message. CAN"T call back and ask to be on their "Do Not Call" list.  I tried.  When I called I got a message, "The next available will be with you shortly." then a dead line.....

I verified there number through direct tv. It's I a promotion department with direct tv. It's a promotion for three months of free starz. Hope this helps

Looks like it is Direct TV trying to offer special packages on movie channels but they don't leave messages only if you pick up do they make the offer.

They just called me again.  This time I answered and spoke to a representative for DIRECTV.   They offered me a special deal on some movie channels for being a valued customer.  I declined.

Have been called by this number every night for a week.  Tonight I answered-it was a recording  saying "you have been called...", so I hung up.  I will not answer again.

I have gotten 3 phone calls from this number caller ID says it is DirectTV; called DirectTV and it is not there number.
