They are spoofing their number. Actual company info:
First National Collection Bureau, Inc.
610 Waltham Way
Sparks, Nevada 89434
775.322.0444
800.824.6191
http://www.fncbinc.com/

They call numerous times per day and will not stop. Once I found out their company info I called and they were looking for someone else. I told them they had the wrong number and that is why they never got through. I told them they ever call again and I will file harassment charges.

Number on Caller ID came up as Local Office. However 929 isn't a local Area Code so I didn't bother answering. No messages were left.

As the rest of you, I keep getting calls from 9239-999-1816 and the caller ID says "Local Office."  I don't owe anyone anything so I answer the call.  There is no one there.  Or, they don't respond.  There is some background noise.  Then they hang up.  One would think that our government would enact laws that would prevent these calls as well as collection calls for old debts that are not subject to collection.  Why would they?  They don't care about helpoing the people.  They only want to help themselves.  It doesn't matter which party they are associated with.

Just got called after I checked out graze.com.. I don't know if thats related as I didn't give my phone number.. but kinda weird.. not to mention I don't think this is a collection call since I just got my new number.. so I have no idea how anyone has my number.. only my family has it.. I'd say just don't answer the phone.. no message was left..

When 929-999-1816 Calls you the automated service answers and refers you to call back a toll free number of 800-824-6191 with a provided reference number, the person who used my phone number was in a completely different part of the state and I have had this number for well over 5 1/2 years. Just an fyi for anyone looking for more information
