This number called several times.

They called me too.  Regarding my Frontier and how they could save me money by bundling my phone & internet.

After 31 years of having "Verizon" telephone, which eventually became "Frontier" telephone company, we switched carriers to bundle three services [cable TV, internet, phone]. These phone companies NEVER had a way to "bundle" as they did NOT offer all three services and offered "no less-expensive" plans. Now we get phone calls from a guy at this number who will NOT identify himself, but wants to speak to "someone in charge of making decisions" at this number.  Rude.  Intrusive.  Wouldn't take "no" for an answer. Told him he had the wrong number - didn't care. Finally hung up.

Some black guy with a hard to understand dialec calls wanting "the person in charge of making decisions at this number".  Are you kidding me?  I told him the party he asked for was not at this number, but he still insisted on speaking to the person in charge of making decisions.  After several minutes of this gibberish, I finally asked who HE was and he advised "I'm with Frontier telephone".  Yeah, well if you were, why wouldn't you say this right off the bat?  Probably another scam, but hope they call back - I'm pretty lonely and would love to speak to someone; maybe they have new recipes for applesauce or something.

Just got a call from this number.  Asked for my wife.  Said she was out.  Asked if I could talk about Frontier.  I said yes.  He hung up.  Hope I just didnt get switched to a different phone company.

I've received a call every day from the jerks and no one is there for the past 4 days and want to sue their a***s off for violating the do not call list and in violation of the rules dead air !

Got a call from this number twice tonight. Caller ID said "EFFECTIVE TELES". I answered the second call and took like 20 seconds after I said hello before I was greeted. Lady said she was from Frontier. Said she wanted to review my account to see if I have the best deals (paraphrasing). I replied that this call didn't show up as coming from Frontier. She replied " I'm not sure why but I assure you I am from Frontier".
I told her not good enough and hung up.

I don't believe the call was from Frontier and likely was from some telemarketer working for or with Frontier at best. In any case, she lied when she said she was from Frontier and didn't know why the caller ID didn't come from Frontier.

I'm on the do not call list...

Received a call. She said she was from Frontier phone company (which I have) and wanted to save me money on my phone bill by switching to what she called A "Freedom Value" package It sounded ok untill she sent me to a second person who said I had to talk to a 3rd to get a VIN number?? The third person gave a wrong first name and said she couldn't change it?? Then she said I had to give her more info about my account. Thats when I really realized it was a total scam. She probably would have asked for personal info, but I hung up on her.

Call appears to be either AT&T telemarketing, or a scam - not interested either way.
