Unwanted solicitation on my cell phone. When you try to return the call and check the number it is a constant busy signal.
I am on a do not call list and these calls continue to come in.

I've been getting these calls for about 2 months now with different people calling. Each caller has a strong middle eastern accent and are very hard to understand. They keep telling me they need to long into my computer and fix a Microsoft error that is causing problems. When I ask them which computer my home or my work they say my home computer. So I tell them I have 2 laptops and one desktop, they say it may be with all of them. I've hung up on them in the past but they are very persistant and plan to call me tonight again. They are calling my home phone and now my work cell phone.

I may be mistaken, but it is my understanding that unsolicited calls to a cell phone are illegal. You can report it to the FBI here: https://tips.fbi.gov/

I suggest reporting conversations with this number to the FBI's fraud investigation team. I have already done so. It's really easy to report suspected fraud to the FBI using their single-page online form that can be submitted on the internet. It only asks a few questions - the phone number and/or company you are reporting, and a few questions about basic information about you. You can include an optional message, but are not required to do so to report the suspicious calls.
I answered a call from this number. After a brief moment of silence the caller asked, "Is this (xxx) xxx-xxxx?" I laughed as I pointed out that she obviously knows what number this is, since she dialed it. I stopped laughing and demanded to know, "What do you want?"
She claimed to be a representative of my computer's repair company. This made me laugh even harder and louder as I retorted, "No, you're not!" My roommate raised an eyebrow. Still laughing, I began to explain "This girl first asked me if the number she dialed is the number she dialed. Now she's actually trying to pretend my computer told her to call me!" I promptly disconnected the call.
She immediately called right back. She asked if I spoke Spanish. I said no, and she repeated the question. I asked, "Why? You speak English, don't you?" She denied that she did, in English (maybe Eastern, or Middle Eastern, accent).
In spite of my raucous laughter, I heard some line interference and then a man's voice. She had dialed another number while I was still on the line (probably a glitch in the software-based phone dialer call centers use and that she might be using as well). I explained to the gentleman that our unsolicited caller was obviously full of it and sounded like a scam. I then disconnected the call.
She called again immediately. She demanded to know, "This is not a scam! Why did you tell him this was a scam?" (in clear and perfect English, of course). I heard the line interference again, the same gentleman said, "Can I help you?" I told the gentleman that I would be reporting her calls to the FBI for investigation for suspected fraud. I don't know what she was shouting about as I disconnected the call.
She called again immediately. I did not answer.

It is a scam and a well known one. The only persons who should be touching your computer is you, your manufacturer, Real Windows support that you have called and/or maybe a real live tech you see face to face!

I got a call from this number. It took a minute for someone to respond. She said. She was my computer support Microsoft. She said her name was cherry. Spoke with thick Hindu accent. She claimed programs on my computer were deleted and wanted me to get on my computer and she would direct me. I told her to call me back. I smell scam. Got on internet to check it out. Could not find anything. So beware. I feel it is a scam to steal computer info. Geez what is this world coming to??
