I received the same email and request for text, then I got spammed with another six. I reported them to Craigs list and then made a filter in GMail deleting any future ones. I wonder what the heck there trying to get.from all this. I'm glad I'm non specific and don't list my address.

Now It's just a pain in the a** all the other emails she's sending.

What happens if I did text this Brittany person? What is the scam? Can she access my phone number and contacts??

Had an ad in CL DC,got the above email from Brittany ,Scammer.

So glad I checked the number before replying.
Had an email from Brittany asking me to txt reply to this number.

More of the same....Brittany saying she is interested in the room I have for rent. Its a scam. I didn't actually text, but you can tell its a scam just from the terrible written english.

Received Reply from "Banet" with an Ohio Area Code asking me to text only

Called instead.  Got Google Phone Voice Mail.  Left a BS message without any personal information.

This is a SCAMMER hiding their true phone number behind a Google Voice Number
