They called my husband sayin his parents where in a car accident and said he neede to send money or thy would be killed. My husband didnt hang up because he is from PR and They person new what kind of car they drove and enough information to where he believed them. They told him if he text or called any one his parents would b shot. So my husband sent them 160$ just to find out it was a scam. If they call u hang up

I have a called from the same number from a pablo or pedro. Stating that he was provided with my cell number to call me because someone got into an accident.

The guy said his son got hit by my son and he was a drug dealer and he was going to keep my son until I deposited $500 for medical, I had my son on the phone at the moment of the call, I said i cam come and handle the money... I ready to go to his place and handle him a 38 over his face but he said I had to go to Publix and send money.  I mentioned I was going to call the police and I had my son at home with me and the SOB hangup. Did any of you had items listed on craigslist?  I think he got my number from Craigslist.

They called my mother asking her if she had a son or daughter that might be in a car accident (all in spanish) and telling her that I (HER SON) was in a car accident.

Yeah! My wife receive the same call same story same accident, actually he add something more to the story, the father of the person involve of the accident is a fugitive, and that is the reason they did not call the police, and they have my family member hold in an apparment until I send it the money to pay the doctor if not he will shoot my family. I did call my family member and he was ok, I confront him and he hang up. After 20 min. I call at his number, they answer the call, this time the m@&^%#r did not reconize my number and he tell me another story, similar at the ast call, this time I have toplay with him a little gave him a wrong info, and wait how deep in his s&@#t he will step on it. THAT WAS HILARIOUS!!!! I will not resist to tell him all what he said was BS and I will report this number with the FBI. Actually I did. Be carefull when you receive a call like that, is handy have another phone to verify the info while your are in the phone call. I still laughting, lol!!!

THIS IS SO SICK...HOW DID THIS SICKO GET MY NUMBER....I'VE HAD IT FOR 12 YRS.....AND THIS IS THE 1ST TIME SOMETHING LIKE THIS HAPPENS TO ME....I WAS FREAKING OUT... THAT NUMBER WAS REPORTED AND HOPEFULLY TI WILL BE RESOLVED SOON.

They called my sister in Orlando about the same thing.  That someone we know hit a person on a motorcycle and then she called the cops so they took her cellphone and car.  Then I called on a three way call and they were asking all these questions about who lives in Tampa, does my sister have any kids and I told them I had three kids.  I called my kids and they are fine.  They said that he is a paramedic from Dr. Phillips Medical Center in Orlando but the company works in Florida and Puerto Rico.  I forgot what name he gave me.

So this number first calls my mother and tells her that i was involved in a car accident and that i was taken to the hospital. Knew our names , type of vehicle i drove color and all . So my Mom calls me hysterically asking if i was ok .  Told her i was fine amd that i was working. I then called the number and spoke with the man and now hes asking me if i had a sister named stephanie and that she had been in an accident and that the person she hit was on a motorcycle. That they  were going to take her the car and all her belongings and that if wewanted her wed have to pay. To l becuse we had already spoken to my sister and she was fine at work as well !! This man is a scam artist and  of he knew better hed w know not to call again cus hes gonna get the business !!

Yes it was a scam . They did it to my grandmother sadly she was so nervous and fell for it . She sent them $220 , we already reported them .

now they just called my cell. I told him that I had googled him and that I am aware of the scam. He stood silent, then advised me to call my kids and make sure they are ok. I had already done that.

They just called my wife's cell. They claim we have a relative or kid involved in a car accident who gave them our number. I asked too many questions. In the end, I refused to give any info. I told them that I would investigate. I am going to report it to the police. PS: The number is from Puerto Rico (first red flag). The caller was speaking in Spanish, which I questioned.
