This is a legitimate business offering ID Theft Protection...why is everybody so paranoid about a phone call?  If you don't want it, simply pick up the phone, and ask to be removed from their list...viola, calls will stop.  I have learned most people posting to these websites are mostly morons...I even read one post where a lady claimed she got a call every time she sent a text to her husband so it must be something tied to her personal phone...seriously?  Are people really that retarded?

Are the calls annoying? yes...but in order to be put on their do not call list, you have to tell them....otherwise YOU ARE GOING TO BE CALLED AGAIN...I know how call centers work...they get lists of phone numbers to dial, and they continue to dial the numbers until they get one of 3 things = 1) a sale.  2) you tell them not to call again and put you on the do not call list. 3) you listen to their pitch and tell them you are not interested.  ITS REALLY THAT SIMPLE!!!

just received a call from 940-312-7436 (11:30 a.m. 7 Feb. 14) -- I let it ring, message was only "Hello", Googled to see if it came from overseas.  I'm a Verizon customer.

Identified himself as being from "ID Crime Watch".  Told him I'm on Do Not Call registry.  They called the next day so I made sure first that the area code was in the USA & not overseas (it was Denton, Texas), and then I called it back.  Got an automated message to either (1) get Customer Service or (2) get my # removed from their call list.  Pressed 2, automated reply said it "captured my #, it will be removed and may take up to 48 hours to do so".  We will see. It's Feb 6th, 2014

I received a call from this number on my home phone in South Florida. They left no message. P.S. I don't have AT&T service at all.

The caller said she was from ID crime watch. This just stated after I changed over from AT&T to a charter bundle. Five calls in two days.

Caller ID showed Denton TX. Left no message on my answering machine. I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but since I bundled my AT&T home phone into my WOW cable/internet service last week, my telemarketer calls have doubled. I now get several calls a day from all over the USA. In the last 3 days, nine different calls came in. None of them left a message.

called the number back, don't know who it is but they give you the option to press 2 and have your number removed.

Call from this number once answered hangs up.

Just received a call from this "phone number".  For ME the phone number appeared in the area for the NAME and the phone number area was BLANK.  What does this mean?  Of course, it's a faked number for a non-legitimate business.

Answer and ask that you be taken off their calling list. Or log into your phone provider website and block the number.

repeated telemarketing

This number is on my landline caller ID 5 times over the last 24 hours. Stop calling! Never leaves a message, I don't pick up.

They called twice yesterday and once today. No message left. ANNOYING.

Called 7:58 pm no answer

Received a call from this number tonight. I could hear noise in the background like it was a telemarketer call center, but no one spoke up, so I hung up.
