I called the 940-799-0044 and spoke to a rep for Insurance Placement Center. They say they represent all major auto insurance companies. However, when I looked them up at BBB.org they have an "F" rating!

Wanted to let me know I was paying too much for my car insurance.

I got one from this number the other day. Definitely not shopping for insurance, and the fact that I only use like 20 minutes a month for a quick husband call on my way out the door from work, no one else should have the # either. Just an empty air message.
