sounds like 2 beeps, then a fax sound

calls every day.......!!

sound like a fax, very annoying.  Who is this?

like the other complaints listed above, they call every day, you hear 2 beeps & then a fax machine noise. if you try to call # back you get the same thing over & over again. if I could find out who it is I would wring their necks.

It is a fax, but it only calls once.  It is a fax in Denton Texas.

File a complaint with the TX attorney general, bbb and FTC against the carrier (Gte-Sw Dba Verizon Sw Inc) and parent (Verizon) for allowing it to happen - They are aware of the problem and that their client is abusing the rules and using multiple numbers to circumvent action and as the carrier they are letting it happen.
Send a copy of the complaint(s) to the head of verizon investor relations:

and threaten media involvement if no action is taken...

Someone from Denton, Tx. keeps calling my home. Either no one answers or you hear what seems to be a fax. The number is: 940-898-9744. Please do something about this. It is becoming very annoying.

It's a fax machine calling my phone. I get 2-4 calls per week, it's unsolicited and I'm obviously on some kind of spam/marketing fax list. There is no Caller ID or company name, as this just comes in as a phone call, but when I pick up, it's a fax machine. The only information I have is the phone number: 940-898-9744

How can you stop using offensive words.  These idiots are about to drive us nuts.  We receive 8-10 call per day on our cell phones attemping to send a fax.  I have already notified the FBI and the local police in Denton, TX.  This has been going on for months, and I mean to find a way to stop it.

caller keeps dialing & trying to send a fax on a non-fax line. do not know how to get them to stop, very annoying.
