unknow number left no message

I get one of these nearly every day. When I answer it sounds like a fax tone. My caller ID says "Alternative Res"

I can the exact same call, it calls me almost every day sometimes 2-3 times per day.  Sounds like a fax. The FCC needs to stop this. When you call back, you hear numbers dialing.

This number, and a string of other 940 and 817 numbers, has called us multiple times.  No fax (though, sounds like a fax tone), no one on the phone, no way to look them up or ask them to stop calling.  Filing a Junk Fax 1088 Form with the FCC, recommend you do so as well.

Just got the same kind of call as KS. No name and came at 7:17am PDT. First thought it was a missed call, i called back; there was silence for a few seconds, then dialed a number, then a short couple of numbers then a fax or computer.

My outgoing message ran then they dialed 2 numbers and a fax machine started.
