spent 35 minutes on the phone with this call - very hard to understand the indian accent - tried my best, but once finally go down to it they say they were doing me a favor to lower my interest rate to 6%  - sound great!  took forever to get down to how much it would actually cost me... $695 - took 3 tries to get them to understand NO!!

I WANT THESE DAMN NUSANCE CALLS TO STOP IMMEDIATELY !

Robo-call, said they wanted to lower my credit card rate, HaHa!

Just got a call from this scum and I told him "dont call me anymore, remove my name" and he said in a smart azz way "I will call you" and he called me by my first name. This pisses me off. Who gives out our info. I asked him what card he represented and he said Bank of America, Chase Credit, etc.

These people will take all the info you give them and scam the daylights out of you. Its a sin the gov't puts all these stupid procedures in to action to help us and then does NOTHING to enforce them.

I am contemplating using Call Trace next time. What b****oles, I hope they all choke on their lunch!

Caller identified an association with "card services", was rude and insulting, then hung up. A pre-recording prompted me to press 9 to be connected with an agent to lower interest rates.

Yeah - requested name of company, rep started naming all of the banks.  I explained that I was on a do-not-call list and that several times I had requested to be removed as I don't have any credit cards, he responded FU B*tch.  Would love to find out who they are.

They left no messg.  It's no use.  By the time we "report" them, they'll move to another number and keep calling.  I do like the bounty hunter or posse idea though.

Someone's eventually got to stop them, right??

I have also placed a phone call to the White House & have left a message for the President.

I am sick & tired of all these robo calls & no one gets fined nor arrested...The fine is supposed to be $16,000...

So sick of these scammers.  I wish I could find them and show them how much I appreciate the calls and hanging up on me when I push 1 to ask them to stop.  A***oles.

Same Credit Card services.  It's amazing how fast they hang up when you tell them they are breaking the law by calling a do not call number.

Just got the same "Lower interest rates" call from the same number at 3:46PM EST. They always hang up when I start asking questions. I'd LOOOOVE to find these people.

Calls every day, pre-recorded message - I finally blocked them through my phone company.

In your dreams they'll go away.  We've been getting these calls several times a week for well over a yeat.

Yep...this goes on all the time, numbers change, calls me at least once a day at a time that matches my address. Ron Paul or Obama supporters and those who ordered the Zeitgeist movies online seem to get alot of this type of phone harassment, but that's a local assessment.

Press 1 to talk to an operator, Asked the guys name and he hung up, interesting tactic.
Credit Card Services or some such scam. I have taken to reporting these immediately to the FTC do not call registry, if enough do it they are bound to take action.

When you answer they say no problem with your credit cards but we can lower your interest rate to as low as 6.9%. Press nine to speak to rep. Press and ask for supervisor, they say one moment and then hang up.   Have ask thisquestion numerious times I have blocked the number and now reporting it to you for further investigation.   Please Fine This Company!!!

We receive calls from this number  (1-941-312-2235) at least 2-3 times per week. A recorded message indicating lowering the interest rate on credit cards.

Didn't answer.  They didn't leave a message.

Most likely a phishing scam. NEVER give out personal information. This sounds like an overseas operation. They are the scum of the Earth.

Call not interested will not answer them.

this goes on day in and day out. Blocked it, sent to do not call, screamed at phone co,BBB, nothing works.

Panasonic sells cordless phones that allow you to block unwanted calls. When one of the new nuisances start calling ... we add it to the list of blocked calls. It will ring once or twice ... the number shows up on the TV screen and the call will disconnect. Easy way to not have to talk to these unwanted calls.
