I have been harassed by these same ppl for months. They are driving me crazy.  The thing is that recently the phone # changed to an 800 #.  The guy told me he was calling from P.O.R Medication, but when I called they said it was U.S. Cash advance.  Didnt add up, told the guy to never contact me again. I filed a complaint with the FBI.  This is crazy, I work for a large Bank, and have had to change my Debit card twice because of this.  The fraud department here is working towards resolving the issue, but cannot locate the office, and thus each time they try to look up my information "bam" fraud alert, and I have to change my account #'s.  UGHHH I can't wait for these people to be caught!

i recieved a call yesterday about the same thing..and i dont even qualify for loans but it scared me because they had all my info so i almost fell for it untill i looked up the number..they call from different numbers too so be careful when you answer the phone

Trying to get money from me. Claim they are from Mark Jones Legal Associates. They want personal info from you debit card, drivers liscense number as well as copies of bothwith your signature attached. Threaten you will go to jail immediateley if you don't pay. I was contacted by 2 people with the names Sam Peterson and Ericka Burkins. I filed a complaint with the FBI (www.ICS.gov) This is a scam. Turn them in!

You are right. Now it is January 18th 2012 and I have not been arested yet! I don't
have a warrent or case filed against me. I call me lawyer about it. He just took his time
and responded to me 7 days later and left a voice mail. He said that it's a scam. Don't
pay them no mind. He seems like he has already heard about that company. That's why
he took his time to call me back. SO EVERYONE, IF THEY CALL YOU. LAUGH IN THEIR
FACE AND TELL THEM YOU CAN SEND THEM YOUR KIDS PLAY MONEY ( hA hA )

They called me and said that i need to wire them $600 before the end of the day or i will go to jail.

I got a phone call today from 941-357-7975 from an Erica Perkins telling me I better pay $300 by tomorrow or I will go to jail. She would not give me a case a number or anything. She knew my info. This is CRAZY!!!!

This number keeps calling me ! A man with an accent calling with threats and saying they are going to have me arrested. I want the calls to stop!!

Have been getting these calls since before Christmas. They ask if I am aware I have a lawsuit against me for a payday loan but won't give out any information. Want to know if I have an attorney too. I've told them I will wait for the paper from their attorney to come in the mail. They still call.

I just got a call from a Jason Brown that had a real strong accent. He called from the number 941-357-975 and said he was gonna have me arrested if i didnt come up with this money and then told me he was gonna have the cops sent to my house to arrest me and then hung up on me. Then called back like 5 min later and asked why i hung up....and the when i told him he wasn't getting any money from me that i was gonna loose my job and be unemploye cause he was gonna get me fired then proceeded to ask who my manager was and then started mumbling stuff in the phone saying how i'm a w***e , bi***, s**t, and asking if i spoke spanish and that my name is a spanish name and then I asked him if he spoke english since his name was James Brown.... then he hung up on me again and has tried to call back twice and is not getting another answer from me.....

I keep getting call after call from a "mystery man" who keeps on saying He needs to talk with my attorney because of a Pending case! First of all,  how can I have a case in Florida when I live in TX?
I ask who he is with and why he is calling and he never answers. I want it ti stop now!!!

They've been calling me for about a year now. I ALMOST SENT THEM THE MONEY.....but then I used the good brain that God gave me and said wait.......CASH WORLD.....Ive never taken out a loan from CASH WORLD.....smh. Took my happy @$$ right back home and told them to go F^^^ Themselves slowly.

These people with thick Indian accents called me and left a message with my sister saying that Rob Deneore is tryingot get in contact with me left the number 941-357-7838. I called them back and spoke with an Indian man who read an 'affidavit', explained that charges were being brought against me for taking out a payday loan and not paying it back. I told him he had the wron person, he then became rude, read me my SSN, and Driver Liscense number and told me not to tell him he had the wrong person!! I laughed and told him he was a joke. I then called back and spoke with an Indian lady and asked for the name of the law firm, she said it was Mark and Jones Law Firm in FL. I asked for an address and she said she did not have to provided any info to me, andthat I was going to jail. Iasked if she was in AMerica and she told meI needed a doctor. HAHA!

Lennon this is just a scam, they threaten everyone with losing their job and jail.  I actually laughed at the woman and told her I would have them investigated.  They had the last 4 of my social as well but when I asked her to repeat the first 5 she couldn't.  They only have that information on you because you probably filled out some type of online application, in which anyone can get your information once you have entered it online.  Don't worry you are not going to jail and you won't hear about this anymore from anyone else besides them, the scammers.

Don't worry Alexis, no one that they try to scam has actually taken out a loan, they just apply for one and that is how they get all of your information, all you have to do is listen to them for about 30 seconds and you can realize they are frauds, it's pretty pathetic.  I was told I would be in jail and lose my job in 24hours after she got mad because I didn't believe her and told her I would have them investigated and it's been about 5 days and I still have a job and I'm still free lol

I received a call from these people as well telling me I needed to get a lawyer and I needed to pay them five thousand and some odd dollars to clear the matter, the guy actually "transferred" me (pushed some buttons in my ear and passed the phone to some lady) who read me an "affadavit" stating I took out this loan that I never paid back.  Their grammar was awful and half of the things she said made no sense at all, after I got done laughing at her and telling her I was going to have them investigated for trying to scam people she got mad that I didn't believe her and told me i would "be behind the bars and lose my job in 24 hours."  It is scary since they do have all of your information but anyone can get that if you entered it online somewhere.  I got a different name than other people though, I was told they were from "Cash World", I cannot believe people are so lame!!  I actually saved the first voicemail to let friends and family listen to it for a good laugh.

One more thing. They now said I have to go to court on monday morning. I THOUGHT I WAS TO BE ARRESTED ON FRIDAY!!

This company told me tuesday that I will be arrested today on friday and I will have to now
speak to the judge.  He said if I have more questions, I will have to tell the judge then he hung
up in my face. I call him back and told him that he needs to give respect and stop hangging up
in peoples face. I told him I not aware of any check loans. He just kept talking,not giving me a
chance to talk. I have never within the last 10 years or more have ever applied for a loan online
and recieved  any money.. I have never stole anyone's information to apply for a loan. I am not
able to apply for a loan,because  my checkings account does not qualify. These people better
check their information again a make sure they have the right person. I think they are very
confuse.
The indian sounding man call me again today and said he needs all the information about me
and my attorney. Why does he need that? That only for me to know. No one  should never give
their personal info on the phone. PLEASE WATCH THESE PEOPLE. DON'T TRUST THEM!

i got a message from number 9413577838 with a threat saying that i would be sued or was going to jail if i did not call with an attorney, say that i owe them money from a payday loan, i have applied but never recieved one. I guess they can just do what they got to do, and i will sue them for an harrassment, they come up with a bank, i will compare  up with my bank records and we will see who gets sued. I do not take kindly to threats. good luck  to them!

Because of the numerous threats from these foreign speaking scammers, I did some proactivity my self. I called the place whom I owe the pay day loan who told me they have no reacord of them reporting to anyone because it is barely 30 since I got the loan, and I should not pay the scammers. I themn called my area police both wher I work and leave since thses scammers threatened to bring the police to arrest me. The police told me that they had nothing to do with anyone owing anyone it was between me and whoever I got the money from. They just dont go arresting people for payment defaultments. I then called the State Attorney's office who in term told be it was a huge scam and I should not pay that Mark Jones Lawfirm as it was a scam. So now Iam thinking to myself how come there is no American speaking person in that firm everyone who has been calling me is either Asian speaking or some foreign accent. So I will wait and see. My advice like the State Attorney gave me DO NOT PAY ANYONE ITS A SCAM. I even had my paralegal friend call them, she asked them the details if the case and if paper work could be faxed over so we know what exactly it is we are paying for. The man rudely told her that he was going forth with the arrest documents and will be arrested in the next 24 hrs, and he hung up. So friends I may be communicating with you all from my jail cell in the next 24 hrs....

An indian accent men  called Mark Jones and Tim Conner who sound the same, very rudelly been threatening me, I called the offices of the State Attorney who told me it is a SCAM

I recieved a phone call from 9413577838 and a non-american women name "Michelle" saying she was from a law firm ,from which i could not understand the name because of her heavy accent, stating that my husband was going to have criminal charges filed against him and a arrest warrant would be issued for him the following day and he would be arrested from his job. I of course asked the woman what was this about and why would he be arrested and she transfered me to ANOTHER non-american(indian, pakistan....take a wild guess) named Jeremy..."Jeremy proceed to tell me that I needed to get a attorney and contact a bondsman because my husband was going to be arrested and there was nothing I could do. I again asked what was this all about and the guy continued threating and cursing at me... after his tirade was over I asked AGAIN for the 3rd time what was this concerning and he finally told me it was about a payday loan that was supposedly online... the company name was something to the tune of cash usa or cash america(again Im not sure because of the accent,sorry) he then told me i could try and speak to another person and transferred me....This persons name was Jessica( YET AGAIN ANOTHER NON-AMERICAN!!!) she asked me what i wanted to do to handle this situation either let my husband go to jail and go to court which would cost something to the tune of 5,000 dollars + or try and resolve this matter and pay it off, the amount was 755.56to pay it off, so of course I said I would like to try resolve this matter out of court and keep my husband out of jail of course! They had all of my husbands information(name,cell,ho me and work numbers, name of his employer, ssn, our home address ect). We actually have done some bussiness with a loan company with a similiar name so I totally thought this was legit.....I STUPIDLY sent 200.00 via western union to a attorney by the name of  KEVIN TATE in Bradenton,FL.....I came home and googled a Kevin Tate in Florida got nothing, the following day I called the number in which I could hear myself through the phone, as well as a computer noise,so they called me back, the girl Jessica informed me that the rest of the 755.56 would have to be paid by the first of the year( ITS DECEMBER 28!!) She tried to tell me to get a Wal-Mart credit card or prepaid card or another payday loan, or even have my husband ask for a advance, I told her thats not possible! I hung up. TODAY (Dec. 29).....my husband was speaking to a lady that he works with and the same ppl and number had called her!!! I immediatly put a stop on the Western Union (luckily got our money back)!!! I called my local sheriffs office and they said all that I could do is tell them if they call again I will file telephone harrassment on them... :( not really enough in my opinion, where do I file a complaint about this or who do I file a Complaint too?????????????

This number kept calling me and told me that I owed $582.50 for a payday loan I took online.  They told me that they represent Cashworld an online service that deals with all online payday loans including moneytree and many others and if I dont pay it that they were going to have an officer pick me up from work tomarrow and take me to jail.  The name that they kept saying was that they were Mark and Jones Legal Assoiciates.   This is a scam....

what is sad about these scammers is that they are able to get through to young niave people who believe their threats.

they just called me and left a message saying that they are going to send the police. If I do not call them back right now. I hate I was even on line they called me 6 times today. going to call the NC Attorney General office today. This number comes up as a scam and I read what people have been going though this is not cool. I will not give my money to some law firm that I have no clue who they are.

these people have been calling my cell for about 2 weeks! Finally answered this morning and was told i had committed a crime and the cops would be here to get me tomorrow morning! ha what a joke seeing as how ive never been in any kinda trouble at all and told this "law firm" so..asked them to quit calling and he is continously calling back and harrassing me!!!!
