This idiot called my home and calls my cell phone.  When I answered he told me I had a lawsuit pending against my social security number and that my attorney needed to call them back and if I didn't, then good luck.  I finally got tired of him and asked what this mess was about.  He kept trying to get me to give him my complete social security number.  I told him that since he was calling me, he must have that information.  He persisted in trying to get me to give him the info.  I finally told him that if this was true (and there was no way it could have been), then put it in the mail.  He became argumentative and I once again said, put it in the mail and hung up.  He called back 3 more times and I  let voice mail answer.  He finally stopped calling.  I got a call today on my cell from the same number.  I recognized and just pressed ignore.  No message and so far, no return call.  There has to be something that can be done about people that call trying to scare you into giving them money.  I do not owe any pay day loan company anything.

Got a call from a lady named Michelle. She wouldn't talk to me but she said she was calling regarding a loan my husband had out and she was calling from the backend of a payday loan company. She said she is from Unich Cooproation and needed to talk to him immediately. She said it was private so she couldn't discuss the situation with me.

They call claiming they are "Alex Johnson" or "Sean Anderson" an "officer of the law" with some sort of indian accent and that there will be police officers coming to arrest me with all these bogus charges against me on a phony payday loan that I supposedly had... they even had names of friends that I have previously used as referrences on other things & my ssn. They've even called me back after I hang up calling me a "b*tch" and "stupid lady... that's all you are is a stupid worthless lady" and one even said "i will track you down and kick your a**" I called the FTC and our state's Attorney General and they both said it's a scam and the only thing I can do is change my number or hang up as soon as I realize it's them and not to give them money. They also gave me a list of information that would help determine the difference between a real debt collector and a scammer. A debt collector HAS to send you a written notification with in 5 business days of the first contact. Also, a debt collecting agency and officer CANNOT make ANY sort of threats against you whatsoever... not even to garnish wages. If they do so and it is reported, they can receive fines starting at $10,000. My husband is in the military so we can't just change our phone numbers, there are way too many people we would have to notify, so we contacted our cell phone providers and downloaded a phone number blocking program and add those numbers to the list as they call. They stop calling for a while but eventually find a number that isn't on the list.

Got a phone call from this foreing person accusing me of not paying my loan to PAyDay. I never had a loan with this company (Btw that's the only English word I really  understood from this scammer.) I did give him a number to call ... Roseta Stone - I hope he will choose "English"

I too got a call from the similar number, the caller stated that he was calling from Unik Corporation they too told me the same about a loan i had taken and defaulted on it. However, at the first instance i denied but later when i investigated i had taken a loan and didn't repay. I then made a payment arrangement and received a confirmation letter from the lender that it is paid for... I am glad it didnt effect my credit.

I  have  gotten  calls  from  a  foreign  man  saying  I  was  going  to  be  arrested  in  Pennsylvania if  I  did  not  take  care  of  it  and  give him  250.00 today.  I  in  returned  hung  up  and  called  my  bank  because  the  guy  did  have  my  information  some  how  like s.s address.  The  bank  said  it  was  more  than  likely  fraud  and  to  call  the  police  and  report  it  and  I  did  and  these  people  still  keep  calling  me.

Keep getting the same calls---it is annoying---they are very rude and harassing on the phone if you answer.  Someone should be able to STOP these people!  I have even had our local police call them back and they continue to call.

yes PB they do try to scare you-remember  the first time i got the call. i was shaken,then got ahold of myself and called them back and blessed them out. they had the nerve to call my work # after that and i proceeded to tell them this is a govt phone-i suggest you not call again. such scammers! hope no one falls for these idiots!

I received  a few calls from this number and the persons sounds exactly like the person who previously called me from the following number 626-768-2536, 646-434-2472, 716-442-2824, 646-843-6258 using the following names Andy Clark, Simon Morgan, Steve Brown, Officer Logan indicating that there is a lawsuit against me.  I have filled out all of the appropriate forms with the FTC for my State contacted the Attorney General, Fraud Squad and even my Corporate security got involved since they were calling my office line.  Nothing has stopped them from calling, what is so funny I was sitting with my Attorney and did receive a call from these crooks and I immediately put him on when he started questioning them, they hung up and never called back.  I started getting calls from these numbers sometime in February and to date if these were legitimate cases, I would have been served the proper way.  The Fraud squad investigated and told me that is is definitely a scam and to ignore the calls.  I can tell you without a doubt I do not owe anyone for any cash loan or whatever they are claiming.  So if you do get this type of calls the first time you will definitely be scared but when you do the research you will see it is all fictious.

This is a number registered to the carrier MetroPCS.  Email them at fraud@metropcs.net and report the actions of the caller.  State that the actions of the caller are in direct violation of their acceptable use policy and federal law.  Demand that they investigate the matter and take action to disconnect the number.  By law, they must do so in matters where numbers are being used to defraud people.  Good luck!

Foreign man keeps calling cell and leaving message that Mike Boz has a lawsuit for Fraud being started against him and that the last four of his social security number is going to be blocked by the U.S. Government. Called the Police and Attrny Genrl here and told them. They said that this is a phone scam done by people overseas, trying to get me to pay them money to 'unblock' the social.

Got these calls also.  Told them my lawyer wanted their address in order to send them a certified letter to charge them with harrassment and fraud.  I finally got an address.  1905 60th place  Bradenton FL 34203.  Look it up!  Google maps or whatever.  Access usa is the name of the company.  Big Fraud Site listed on the web! They will send you merchandise, you repackage it and send it overseas.  Fraud!!!  Scam!!!  Send them every free subscription or whatever you can.  Flood their mail box with piece of junk mail you get at home.  Just make sure you do not have on your own address as a return.

very thick accent saying her name was keera Anderson. stated they were a law firm and we owed 700.00 but they would settle out of ciourt for 500.00. we dont owe a payday loan and they couldnt give me bank account it was depo'ed into or anything.   stated a vfery old address and refused to give me debt info.  sounded like a scam to me... now i jkust blocked it.

This is a total fraud!!!!! I had applied for a loan 1 time...but was never approved for any funds. Thank GOD my bank account was less than a year old and my close friend is my personal banker we were able to review all of my account activity back to when I had opened the account and what they are claiming is totaly FALSE!!! I have told them that I know it is a scam and all they do is hang up on me until they can call me back from another number.

I have been harrassed by these people since November, 2009. Most of the time it is the same story. They call and say that I have a loan that I did not pay for. They have called my mother, my sister as well as my employer. Before, they stated that I owned money and if I didnt settle it, they were going to send the my account to court and then i would be charged with criminal charges. Every time they called, they requested between 400-600 dollars. Yesterday, they called and stated that the company that wanted to press charges against me wanted to make an example out of me so other people pay their bills. They said that i would be charged with a $5,000 fine. They couldnt say which court it would be in, just that it would be in ohio. They have such a thick indian accent, that I could hardly understand them. I called the Federal Trade Commission, the Attorney General for Ohio as well as the Better Business Bureau and made a report. It is all a scam. The only thing that made me nervous is that they had my full social security number. I also then called the credit bureau and had a fraud alert put on my credit. I will be changing my number as well. I have had enough!

Janet Peterson called from this number claiming to be from unique incorporation in Florida.  apparently Florida, India that is.  after i gave her the run around she said if i don't remedy this with Tyrone Daniels they will come get me at 11am tomorrow morning.  scam, obviously, so i called back several times playing nine inch nail's hey pig, the lollipop guild, and this is the police...  Can anyone start a centralized blog that lists the new numbers as they come out so everyone can harass them?  I mean they're criminals in another country so they're not going to have caller id or even bother taking action against prank callers...There is no other way to stop them!  Prank, harass, kicking and fighting - make fun of they're use of the English language!

I just received a call from the mentioned number, when I questioned for detailed information they just wanted to say why they was calling. Long story short, I seen all the post on this number, so I contacted the FBI and shared our many horror stories with them and they advised to contact your State Attorney's Office in reference to what is going on. I know that they have not placed anything on my credit report as of right now, so I know that it is a prank. All I suggest is that you DO NOT provide any personal information (Soc Sec Nmbr, DOB, or any other personal info.) I am contacting the State Attorney's Office about this and if they do not want to pursuee with it then I will step it up to the US Supreme Court and see what they want to do with it. I been receiving all these annoying phone calls from American Legal Services that is what they call themselves. They said that their client wanted to sue me for a loan that I have already paid off. They will call you from these numbers 714-844-9190, 916-244-2396, 941-462-3231, do not give any of your credit card information or give them any type of id first thing you should do is File a POLICE REPORT and report them to the Credit Burea Fraud Division.
