They call a couple times a day.  It's the Fraternal Order of Police out of Bradenton Florida for their annual fund raiser......

they call asking for money and i just hang up.  they keep calling and i tell them we have made our dontations for the year and only do donations through the mail they never take no for an answer. i am glad there are services out there like this and the police protection agency but no is no when one can not make a donation.

This number is a fundraiser for the Florida State Troopers something or other. I had a guy who called me today. I said I'm busy, call later. He INSISTED I said the same thing yesterday, and was bizarrely and extremely rude. I did NOT talk to the guy yesterday. Funny thing is I have been a regular donor. Not anymore. Never again.

This is not the Police Department calling you for donations. It is a professional fundraiser calling on behalf of a police union or association. The Paid fundraiser can take as much as 99% of your donation. Then they use that 99% to call you again and again and again for more donations that will do no good for your Police Department or anyone else for that matter. Your best bet is to hang up the phone and if you want to give to the police then call your local police department by getting their number out of the phone book. At 8 PM today, Received phone call . Peron on other end just said " HEY! How ya dion?" I asked "who is this". they wanted to speak with my mother , a 75 year old invalid. I asked to take a message. The person just said, " I am sorry, I didnt know your mother was busy. Just tell her that Dominick says Thank-You.".
I wrote the number down and Googled it. I came here.

I called the # back. It says it is the American Assoc. of Troopers, Florida Lodge. It is a recording.
There is an 800 # to call for do not call. The option is #9..

A guy Just called, i answered with our company name & he said hi can i talk to the owner i said hes not in right now can i... (he cut me off & said what) i said hes not in right now can i help you, he said no ill call back!

Then hung up

He has a deep voice! he wasnt rude, just not professional!

This isnt the first time he has called he calls every other day & says oh im about to take my lunch i dont know how long ill be ill calll & see if hes in later...

No message left.  Tired of calls from people who do not leave messages.  I am on do not call registry & this is NOT a charity as not collecting 100% for troopers - usually a scam or their union.  I want them to stop.

I answered as a business (even though it was a cell phone) A rude man said, I dialed the wrong number, and then hung up.

received a call from 941-538-7321, no one on the other end,just back ground noise, call was either dropped or they hung up. I called the number back and the automated operator relpied, "Welcome to Verizon wireless, Your call can not be completed as dialed, please check the number and dial again, switch dash 192-4."

I got a call this morning from this 941-538-7321 and they are were also asking for the owner.  A man with a straight forward almost rude tone.  When I told him we do not have an "owner" here this is my company cell phone he hung up... Odd!!!  I will tell you that he got my number online off of a web site.  Just a heads up...

Yeah got call from this number and the guy with a strong attitude asking for the owner of the place, i told him how can i help you, he replies even with a deeper meaner voice "Whats the name of the owner of the place" i ask him how can i hel, and replies insisting on the owners name, very weird call i would say, and i call back number and this is what i got "Your call did no go through, 041P"

Maybe I should call them as ask for money. I need more than they do.

Just called the 941-538-7321 number back. There is a voice recording stating that it is the American Assn. of State Troupers, Florida Troupers Lodge for their fundraising, and someone will be back in touch with me. Now the FHP is making prank calls?????????
Someone needs to notify them of this.
