Calls keep coming in to our home phone from the number 926-6468. No one ever answers when we say hello or who is this. I called it back but it just rang and rang.

I also got a call from 9419266468 on my ofc phone and my cell.  I called it back and no answer.  They didn't leave a message either.

I've also noticed past calls from 941-926-6468 with the caller ID "Florida Mktg." I figured it was a sales call and just let it go to voice mail...no messages left. But wait!

I use Skype for all my overseas calls. For fun, I just Skype called my home phone. Guess what?

Apparently, the Skype service is using outgoing landlines in the 941 area code associated with "Florida Mktg", whoever they are.

A woman named Jessica identified herself calling from US Online Pharmacy. She said she was from a pharmacy that I had previously purchased Viagra and Cialis from.  When I said no I haven't she hung up on me.  Called the number back and no answer.

I have received multiple calls from this number where the person tells me the same story.  When I tell them to take me off their call list they quickly hang up.

I received a call with a foreign accent saying that he's calling from "your pharmacy".  Saying that he wants to place a reorder for me for viagra, cialis or another drug.  I had a good chuckle since I don't believe in Western Medicine.  I'm in the 941 area code, so I didn't suspect the call.  They called 4 times today and I answered the fourth time.

And yes, Skype is the cheap calling service of choice for international scammers too. But in the case of FedUp above, your x-employee was probably just calling you from Germany via Skype because it's cheap and can be done from any Internet cafe.

Call came from an ex-employee of ours. I guess he didn't want us to know where he was calling from. Which is strange because he left us his current address in Germany.  If he did something wrong to call
"from this number", then I will forward more information on this person. I guess I'd like to know how he was able to call from this number. 941-926-6468

The 305 is for the Miami-Dade area and the upper Keys.

I, in fact, called the number and it rang forever.  Next time I tried it was a gentleman that I have known since March 2009, who told me I must be mistaken - that the wires were crossed.  Donkey Dust !!!!

The messages are coming, mostly, from Accra, Ghana.  Scammers are very talented at what they do but do not want to provide a return # and the local # rings forever.

who are these people? my friend calls from Miami-Dade, and its shows a 941 area code. whats the area code for Miami? anybody.

It's a scam and the scammers apparently use one of several different scripts in an attempt to steal money from people.

My grandmother received a call from "941-926-6468" this morning.  The caller claimed to be her grandson, and he knew her name and her grandson's name (my brother).  He claimed to be "in trouble" after getting drunk in Canada and he needed her to "send money" right away.  My grandmother said she couldn't be certain it was my brother's voice because there was a lot of background noise on the phone.  The caller disconnected as soon as she refused to send money.  My brother was of course not in Canada.

My grandmother's caller ID didn't list any name, just the 941-926-6468 number.  The number is listed in Sarasota as a private number (spoofed or hijacked?).  Using a reverse look-up I was able to tie the number to "FLORDIA MKTG" (yes, that's the way it was spelled).  When the number was called, no one picks up... it just rings and rings.  I found an identical "drunk, in trouble, in Canada" story related to "Florida Marketing" in another post using the number 321-354-0772.  (http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-321-354-0772)

Calls and leaves weird messages. Sounds like they are blaring loud music or the t.v. behind them. I also called them back and it rings and rings and then nothing.

Phone has rung 3-4  times today, and when answered there is a hang up. When I called the number, I let it ring 20 times and no answer.
