Called at 7;30 pm, asking for my Daughter in Law, I told them-This is my number, he proceeds to say he is from Heart Savers, and is offering me a heart scan, I say again, this is my number, but you are asking for my daughter in law, he says, well we are offering this to you now, I said, we are not interested.  Strange, had many calls from this outfit, and all the callers, sound Indian ( from India).  Why is the State of California, not looking into these scams, which I feel are targeted toward Seniors?

Called 3 x in one day. Last call made at 10:20 PM.

Called me at 10 45pm. Ask for me by name and then hung up!

Got the call today from Heart Savers inviting me and my wife for a 'free' heart scan. I am on a no-call list but I played along anyway. The person on the other end asked me how my blood pressure was--told her that it goes up every time a telemarketer calls me. Anyway--their REAL number is 949-786-6600 and a chirpy woman on the other end feels sorry for me that I get telemaketing calls from her crappy company.

 A very annoying no. called several time a day, when  answer they hang  up on you. called back to find out who they are. it is a disconnect no.

I feel if is a call to find out if you are home, from time to time  it might be good to answer the call. Hopefully this will stop them from calling again.

What a joke...they fooled me.  I thought it was a scam, but then they gave me a phone number and an address in Irvine, CA.  I was dumb enough to listen to a teleworker from India calling me at 8pm.  I should have known it was a scam.  At least I researched and found this so I didn't waste any more time with them.

Yes, they like to hang up on you when you ask who is calling.

Live in Huntington Beach and receive almost daily and multiple calls.  949 is an Orange County (California) area code.  Have answered to request no more calls and to advise of FTC do-not-call, but no one comes on the line as occurs with tele marketeers.  A return call to the number is useless.  Isn't this a wonderful invasive process!!

I have been getting a call from this number several times a day-EVERYDAY-for the last week or two.  It's annoying and I wish it would stop.  Some people have too much time on their hands.  I never answer it because I don't recognize the number but thanks for the info.  It also comes up on my caller ID as a cell phone number.

In ADDITION to this, that SAME phone number is used by VARIOUS DIFFERENT ENTITIES, if the caller does not speak to you when you answer the call, and the number is a disconnected number, the PURPOSE of the call is to FIND OUT if you are AT THAT RESIDENCE or possibly SOMEWHERE ELSE.  Whoever uses that number to then call and say that they are trying to sell a service, PROBABLY IS SOMEONE ELSE, who got ROUTED to that number.   But IF they WILL NOT SPEAK to you WHEN YOU ANSWER, then it is SOMEONE that is basically doing a SPY ROUTINE.  

Of course, since they get ROUTED to that number, no one EVER gets to know WHO it is.

THis is a disconnected number when you call back.  They hang up if you answer the phone.
Perhaps it is a number trying to track whether you are at your own residence.

Picked up and it sounded like a call center with hundreds of people talking in the background, all with India accents. I think they are calling from a call center in India that has been routed to a local switch to show local spoofed phone numbers. This is a tactic being used by Microsoft to sell Windows business systems IT upgrades. It is supposed to make you think that you are dealing with a true red white and blue business person on the other end of the phone. Sorry, but the accent and the standard name used (Joshua) does not fool me! Another Senior Citizen scammer supposedly trying to get volunteers for a medical trial, which means they are trying to sell some new "wonder drug" to those dumb enough to pay for it. The guy identified himself as "The Supervisor" and asked for either me or my wife by name.

Received several calls from that number. When I answer they hang up

They said they are from some heart line?  Think they are trying to get you to do some medical procedure.

I received a call this afternoon but didn't answer as I didn't recognize the number. No message left.
