call from this number was Pakastani barly spoke english wanted to give me a job and wanted my DOB and SSN.  I refused.

keep getting calls from this number.I have ask them not to call as I am on 1 -800-donot call. And they will not! They do not leave a message, they call from AM to PM. I guess i need to get a air horn and set it off when they call.Maybe then they will get the message.Do not call me !!!! I have asked to be taken off list a couple of times.But they still call and i will not answer but they do not don't leave a message.( they are from some Education Focus)

These idiots just starting calling me today on my cell phone. They are calling from 415-366-9532, 949-272-9133, and 484-489-0922. I calling them from a call blocked number and they either answer and pretend they have called the wrong person, or they answer loan qualification.

One call is one thing, but they keep calling and calling. I don't answer and they don't leave a message.

it is a mortgage company.  some one used my phone number to apply for a loan through lending tree.  i got hundereds of calls in 3 days.  if i did not answer or rejected the call, it rolled over to the next company paying for the lead.  at first i thought it was a mistake, but then i started getting calls asking for several different people... so, it looks like as soon as the "scammer" got a good working number, mine, they used several names to register on lending tree, obviously to get credit for a "hot" referral.  i called lending tree and they took me off the list, with not even much of an apology.  answering the call and saying that i was on the "do not call list" got them to take me off their call list and the calls now have dropped to just a few a day...

Got  a missed call today evening.So just checked

Received five calls just today from this number. I finally answered on one occasion and there is just silence.  I called this number and was able to reach a live person.  It is a refi company and she gave to the run around about their computer having issues and just dialing random numbers again and again.  When I told her that there were many complaints about this number and that I would be filing a complain also she just laughed.

Are  there ways to block this 949-272-9133 phone number?

This is believed to be a scam to "refinance" my home (according to others who have received calls from this number and have talked to people who answer).  People's Bank is who they say they are, but in reality, are not.

This number is harrassing me as well. No messages are ever left and I suspect a scam at this point.
I applied for a license to marry my dog and not only was my request rejected, this now happens!
Please, all of it, just vortex through a wormhole and GO AWAY!

I've been getting 4-6 calls/day from this number.  No one speaks or leaves a message and nothing happens when I return the call.  There's no ring, just dead sound.  It's annoying to get so many calls/day and night, caller i.d. says San Juan Cap CA* 1-949-272-9133.

Called the number back, and spoke to a live person (who was very nice), and I told her that I didn't want to re-finance my mortgage and remove my number from their list.  She said she would, and thanked me for calling.  Lets see if it works.

I also received several calls per day from this number.
I emailed the fraud department of PAETEC (phone carrier) who replied that they no longer own this number, and that it was ported to the carrier PacWest Communications in March, 2009.
I emailed abuse@pacwest.com. Let's see if pacwest can shut down the number.

Finally got an answer on a call back and they answer as "peoples bank". I called the REAL peoples Bank in Ohio, they don't have an office in Ca. but are very concerned that these spammers are using their name. Call 1-800-374-6123, if they are harrassing you and let the Banks lawers take care of it !

Stop or block this number.  Don't know these people and want it to stop today.

I have been getting calls daily from this number. They told me they are with "Peoples Bank" and that they could refinance my mortgage. ( I recently filled out an online refi request, but not with them.)
They came right out and asked for my social security number. I refused.

I believe this is a scam. Do not give out your information. The number registers to Paetec out of Laguna, Niguel, CA. I don't know who those people are, but they are not a bank.

I keep receiving between 4 and 5 calls a day with no messages left from this number:9492729133.  I would like the calls to stop.  I am on the do not call register.

Getting calls from this number. Noone replies to my "hello" and the call disconnects after 30 seconds. Happes 3 times a day for the past few days.
