Received a text message on a Sunday morning regarding back taxes.  I do not owe back taxes.

Gave the option to "opt out" of the messages by replying.

I deleted instead.

Is there anything we can do to eliminate spam text messages?  I received them from candidates on election day, too.  Ticked me off!

STOP TEXTING ME YOU F--C-ERS!   YOU CAN START TO PAY FOR MY PHONE PLAN THEN.
I DON'T HAVE ANY OUTSTANDING BILLS...UNFORTUNATELY FOR YOU I AM VERY ANAL RETENTIVE WITH MY $$$.

I also get these calls to reduce my IRS back taxes....don't owe back taxes.  Don't want to reply with text...heard horror stories...once you reply they get your information.  I just delete  and then delete and delete again.

Keep getting texts from this number on my cell phone about reducing back taxes owed to the IRS.
