I got to excited about this place that I should have known it was a scam. I didn't give any valuable information, but details of my hard life with family. The moment I asked about the leasing information he sent me another lengthy letter about his life and why he wasn't there to show the house himself. For he introduced himself as James C Wible Sr. with email.  However, the phone number is a google account not a landline. "I am currently working as a counselor for the United States Aid for International Development (US-AID) here in Alabama" he says. Wrong.

When you type in the address you will find realtors websites saying the HOUSE not for rent but sold.

I too responded to a craigslist ad for a beautiful rental here in town...was too good to be true, felt my hackles go up but went and looked at the house; but when I couldn't get a walk thru before I sent him an application, I began looking online to see if there was anything going on here. I did find the name of the guy that owns the house and this guy was using his name as well. Yes to the broken English and yes to us.aid in Alabama and yes using the same number...hasn't this guy done this enough to know to at least use a throw-away phone? Not too bright. The application asks for SS#, DL# and then the name of my bank and my bank account#...knew that couldn't be right! Glad I looked online...gotta love it!

I was interested as well. he went by the name Will Fugate with me and claimed to work for us-aid in alabama. there is no office in alabama. today he sent me his number-  i typed it in and came to this site. I got ahold of the real owners and they had the ad taken off craigslist, the police have been notified. He just called me- and although i did'nt get his real name, i explained to him that he was exposed by many people and that the police and real owners are aware. He kept saying no in his accent and trying to explain how busy he was and that's why he could'nt get back to me. I told him that this was no way to survive- he finally broke down and said he didn't have a drug problem and was trying to get into school and be a good person. i let him know this wasn't the way to do that and asked if he'd like me to pray for him ( i had a rough life and did some crazy things in my youth)- He said yes so i prayed with him and he hung up. i do'nt think we'll hear from him soon- at least i hope not. thank you for your comments

This same exact phone number is listed under a macon ga  home rental for $600 as well as deposit for 600.  When you called the number it said something about a google account. That's how I know it wasn't real

Whoever is using this phone number has listed a home for rent at 3350 So 99th St Milwaukee Wisconsin.....I called this number and whoever this man is .....He asks you to fill out a rental application .....When asked for an address to send the app to I was told to scan it and send it back by computer.....Then he says I qualified to rent the home and that I had to send the security deposit , which would be $600. to somewhere in Oklahoma.....and then he would send the key by Fed Express....I told him I wouldn't send any money unless I met a person face to face....Also told him I would like to see the inside of the home and again he said I had to send money first.....I think this is a scam and told him so ....All he could say was "You are whack"...He had a very strong accent like he was from India maybe.....I of course did not and will not send a penny...I did however send the app back to him before I caught on and it has my address, social security # and my drivers license #.....The number did come up as California  and he said he was in Oklahoma......

Yes, it is a scam.....I went to the trouble of going to see where the house was....too good to be true. I called the guy and "played" his game. I told "him sure send me the rental agreement but he needed to find a way of letting me inspect the property" I feel bad for the "real Jeffrey Boiller", I think he should find a way of getting this guy arrested for using his identity. The email he uses is 'Jeffrey Boillier' <jeffrey.bollier@hotmail.com>

The name he goes by in the email he sent me was Jeff Bollier. I guess he changes his name everytime he tries to scam someone. What is weird about the property though is it is owned by a Jeff Bollier according to the Charleston County website.

Hey there, I responded as well to this ad on craigslist. He sent me a very lengthy email about how it was still available for rent. I responded to his email with little information about myself, but i guess from everyone's post it is a scam?

Glad to know there are websites out here where I can find people who got the same thing I got in response to this ad.

Phone number when called says hold while google voice connects your call.  Deal does seem to good to be true.

I did research and it says that the property is no longer on the market, which could mean it is not for sale but could also mean this guy is trying to rent a house that is not available.  

In a rental scam (a) The rent is too low for that property, that neighbourhood. (b) They want a LARGE deposit. (c) They want you to pay by wire transfer (Western Union, etc) & that's a very big No-no! Use the internet. Search name, address, phone number.

Responded to an extremely low rental house that was on Craig's list. I emailed back expressing my interest. Several days later I got an email from a guy telling me to look at the property, call him back and he would send me an application. The email had a lot of broken English in it and when I called he had a foreign accent. I just didn't feel good about it, so I googled his phone number which brought up a lot of people that he had told the same story too and many said it was a scam. Also this number comes frWe need to get this out there, police, etc. I'm glad that

Goes by Ernest milsap. Tried to get money for a house. I called the guy and he did not even know what company the water or power was through. Also the house is actually available through a property management group.

I also almost got tricked! Shady dude offering real low rental fee for beautiful house. A house someone already lives in!

this phone number is untruthful and trying to get $ from ppl for a house, almost tricked me, but I put on my thinking cap first...DO NOT EMAIL OR TEXT, OR GIVE ANY INFO bout yourself to this person...(David P)

This is suppost to a landline, but my friend is getting text messages from it.
