good thing you did not give them a number, they tryed to say i won the clearing house sweepstakes,, ha, ha,

tried to say i won the publishers clearing house, and to give them a 1000 dollars and i would get 2.5-million dollars, total scam,

Received phone call, would not leave message, I am on list of "do not call"

We receive multiple calls daily asking for the owner by name.  When we state that he is not available they hang up.

These are telemarketers and the phone is dialed automatically simply ignore the call

He asked if the owner was available, I said no, but I am the secretary, I would be glad to take a message for he, he says "Negative" and hung up..OMG>>I am busy enought at work as it is

Local Slash called - trying to convince me the order of the local services search fields on google search where a billed placement and an opening was available for a monthly fee.   Since I know a lot about how this search works I just started laughing and hung up.  Total scam.

Got a call from this number just a few minutes ago.  She asked for "the owner" and when I said they were gone for the day (um.... it's 5:45 pm) and offered to take a message, she just hung up.  She sounded very young and spacey.  Couldn't resist.... I called the number back and got the message that the "google voice subscriber" was not available.

I am on a DO NOT CALL list but still continue to get repeated phone calls.

Please have whom ever is calling from this # please STOP!

This is a company called "Local Splash"  a marketing company in Calf.
 The main # is 877-635-6225, and the Marketing Communications person is SARAH CARTER.  

We should all bombard the main # 877-635-6225 with calls & bug them the way they bug us- hit "0" for the operator and ask for Sarah Carter.  

Don't call the 949 436 7240 , cause all you get is a recording and you get no where.

I am to busy to be tracking this person down that keeps calling 949-496-7240 wth
stop the calls they dont say anything.

The male caller ask for a family member, when I'm asking for who is calling they hung up. Suspicious Activity!

Answer call std business greeting then: "Hi may I speak to Jim please? (bus owner name) ME: I'm sorry he's not in yet, may I take a message or put you through to his voice mail?"  They hang up without saying another word.  

Call back: ... Google voice subscriber is not available, please leave a message after the tone...

They call my office everyday sometimes 4-5 times a day and then it sounds like they hang up when we answer it... Please stop!!

Thanks Paula! I too was unfortunate to get call from #949-436-7240 . the guy was very unpleasant.so i call the number you suggested and spoke with a NICE LADY. she said she would report this and remove all my business numbers from there system.

They never seem to say anything when I answer. So I just hang up on them. They have called every day that I work. This is just annoying and tying up the business phone line.

Local splash guy tried to get me to give him my credit card number to sign up with them to get me listed on google local list in top seven (7) then hung up when I said I would not give him my credit card number over the phone at that time to get started - "local splash"  calls themselves a "authorized google Data service Provider" one of seven (7) in the country. I think they are scammers that call to get credit info.

This number keeps calling and leaves no message

I have been receiving hang up calls from this number at least once a week. After repeatedly reporting them to the FCC, as my telephone number is registered on the FCC Do Not Call Registry I still get them.  If you call the number back you get a message indicating that the Google voice subscrbier is unavailable, leading one to think that someone is trying to circumvent the DNCR but I work in IT.  The FCC would easily be able to track and stop this harassment but have failed to do so leading me to believe that they are somehow involved.

I had my first call today and the rough sounding guy said "was I the owner of ABC company?"

I refused to answer and asked him what he wanted....he responded..."I didn't hear your answer." (sounded aggrevated); I repeated...so did he...then he hung up.

Calls our business number and acts like they know my boss, to try to get to talk to her.

they called asked if I was "Mrs. H".. I said Yes, I am "Mrs. H".. they mumbled something and they said they had to call back and hung up...

I can never figure out why these idiots even call our company. There ARE phones which although consumer phones, you might be interested in and they're made by Panasonic. Once they call, you save the number and then block it. They can call all they want and they will get a busy signal. It's like magic! I know it works because the phones still record the fact they called, and how many times. They called 41 times today alone and it's only 2:00. I recommend these phones and it sure makes life easier. We're really busy and don't have time for these people whoever they are or forever reason they call.

I get calls from this number almost daily but up until now no one has been on the other line when I pick up... very annoying!

Today it was different however - the man was talking to someone else when I picked up and I said hello, he asked to speak to someone in my household by name - to which I asked who is calling. His reply was:

"That's not how it's going to work - you WILL put  .... on the line NOW" To which I said, "You WILL hang up NOW - and NEVER call again"

I filed a complaint with the FCC (do not call)

is calling me every day starts talking and does not like my response and hangs up on me. says it a company called Local Splash..not local at all  it a cell in Laguna Beach Cal. and I am in Scranton, Pa.
How do I get rid of them ?
