I am the attorney that successfully had Bruce Rorty declared a vexatious litigant in two cases I was handling this past June.  This determination brought an end to years and years of harrassing "DoNotCall" lawsuits against hundreds of defendants he had sued across the nation.

I'm sitting here, in Texas, looking at a default  judgment in favor of Bruce Rorty against Eric Williams and US HomeSavers.

As the true owner of US HomeSavers, I can assure everyone interested in this post that my company, US HomeSavers, has never conducted business in or out of anywhere in California. US HomeSavers NEVER conducted outbound telemarking of any kind - ever. In fact, we ran TV commercials in CT, MO, OK and Texas.

I became aware that my company name was the target of hijackers in the summer of '09. In the late fall or early winter, I started receiving phone calls from people who sent money to  US HomeSavers offices in New York and/or California. And yes, they did mention that the person they spoke with had an Indian accent.

As a direct result of this hijacking, I decided that US HomeSavers could no longer operate its loss mitigation business that operated successfully for six years without any complaints.

Now that I have been sent copies of this default judgment for $25,000 and change against Eric Williams, I'm wondering whether if is even worth my while to seek a legal remedy of my own. I don't know who Eric Williams is but I intend to find out. These phoneybaloney loss mitigation attorneys make me ill.

Was getting calls once a day from this number on my cellphone. I finally answered the call to get a recording about mortgage refi's and pressed 2 to be removed from their list. Now I get calls about 5-6 times a day from this number. Obviously, wanting to be removed from the list means "CALL EVERY HOUR". =/

I get several calls each day.  If you listen to the message it says to push the number 2 if you no longer wish to recieve.  I push it each time and still I keep getting the calls.  I thought Telemarketers were not allowed to call cell phones!!!

I got the same calls. got to the next step. they told me it was US home savers. I told them to remove me. I searched for US Home Savers they claimed to work with. the poor guy on the other side said its not him and he has been recieving harrasing phone calls from people who are upset just like me.

apprantley they lie about everything and try and get leads for this Hugland guy in CA and there is another one in NY. I filed a complaint with do not call registry and send an email to my state attorny general.

i have had 10 calls and voicemails from this line, i havae answered and asked them not to call when i press that request i get hung up on. how do i stop them.

I can't stand this anymore.  I contacted them Friday evening and finally got an English-speaking woman.  I said "pleae remove this number from the list.  You've called me 19 times in the last two weeks."  Okay.  So the average had been 2-3 times a day.  Yesterday, Monday, they called me FIVE times!!  You mean to tell me, if I tell you to NOT call me, you call me even more?!

I've already filed an FCC complaint against them and with the Do Not Call registry.  I'm moving on to the FTC (since they seem to be linked to banking) and the Connecticut Attorney General.  I'm going to see if I can collect money in a lawsuit for the aggravation these people have caused me.

30 calls in one day from this number--attempted to call back to have them take our names off their list and get another recording saying press 1.  How can I stop their calls?

I have been getting in excess of 10 calls per day to each my cell phone and my land line. This is ridiculous. We have pressed to have the calls stop numerous times. I am on the federal do not call list. When I pressed 1 to speak with someone and asked why, after requesting numerous times to be removed, I am still getting calls, I was hung up on. I am placing a complaint with donotcall.gov. I recommend everyone else do the same.

Getting calls on all of our lines beginning with 913-323-7*** and 913-906-3***.  Need to get them stopped.

I have gotten 5 calls so far today from this number to my cell.  I am on the do not call list and have no idea where they would get my number from.  This is beyond frustrating.  This is an automated message that says it is for refinancing home loans in my area.

Besides filing a complaint(with the do not call list) what can I do???

I get this call 10 times a day

M home is not in foreclosure (far from it), but still I get 4 or 5 calls each, both on my landline and my cellphone, about means of avoiding foreclosure. The calls are an ever-incrfeasing nuisance.

I thought this posted the other day, but not.  I keep getting calls from this number on my cell phone.  I again put my cell phone on the Do Not Call Registry.  It's about home loans.  When I called back, I got a voicemail message in Spanish.  I finally reached a live female who only spoke Spanish - no English.  Stop calling me if you can't speak English, stupid morons!!

This # 1-949-459-3179 keeps calling my house 3-4 times a day.. My landline blocks the number with a busy signal but they keep trying.. It's SO very frustrating.. I've loggged a compliant with the above link.. The caller ID says CALIFORNIA.. I called back once and it was spanish message.. Wish I could stop these f calls as i'm on the Do Not Call list.. I guess No good Solutions out there?

Wait a minute.  I get the call about home loan programs in English.  I called back a few times and got a Spanish message and then it hangs up.  I don't understand Spanish.  I finally got a live person who answered in Spanish and I said "no comprehende Espanol; do you speak Engllish?" and the woman replied, "no."  Then STOP calling me!  I reported it to my cell phone company and she credited the minutes for their calls and my voicemail calls to get their messages, but I will report them to the DO NOT CALL link above.

the calls are 4Xs or more a day, I can not take this.  I wish I could make them stop...so fustrating!!

Don't appreciate your number being posted? Why, do you have a problem with unsolicited phone calls from semi fluent english speakers? Welcome to my world, chief.

I was extremely frustrated by these calls. One day I did the same thing. I pressed "1" and I ended up talking to an Indian guy with a fake American name. I asked him about the name of the lender and he gave me US Home Savers. He then transferred me to another Indian guy with another fake name. I am from India myself. So, I can easily tell the fake American accent. I asked for his phone number and name and he gave me "Jeff Smith" as his name and 516-882-6675 as the number. This was a fake telephone number as when I called, this was not even a valid number.

I think what is happening here is that US Home Savers have engaged this Indian company to do their cold calling and this Indian company uses robo-calling to get the leads. I believe that it is not even legal to call people with recorded messages in the US.

I then sent an email to US Home Savers ( got their email from their web site ) and asked them to instruct their cold calling company to remove my name from the list.

I have not received a call since. So, looks like they did remove my name.

These calls are extremely frustrating and I think this is a completely stupid marketing strategy. I will never recommend US Home Savers to anyone in my life time after all this harrasment for months.

Yeah, but you ARE accepting  leads from a source that just called me 9 times today.  How would you be reacting to that?

I've gotten 3 robocalls total, and the entities behind this # appear to be Haglund Law Group and Ushomesavers.com, and protestations aside, with assistance from Eric Williams. After pressing "1" and getting hooked up to an Indian operator, they hung up after I started to ask the person questions re: address, etc.
