I just got the same call

Just got the same call:
An indian sounding man named "officer King Walker" called, saying it is "in my best interest" to return his call immediately. Says he is with "Federal Crime investigation.  When I asked for his number this is the number he gave me, BUT the caller-ID showed a fairly local area code number which was 847-631-4977

I received a call from someone going by the name of "Officer King Walker". He told me that one of my friends, a so called "Rex Nive", is in jail and has asked me to give the bail money. King Walker says he is from the FBI. I told him that I do not know any "Rex Nive" and that I certainly cannot afford bail money. He hung up.

He then calls back 10 minutes later, saying that I am going to be arrested in a few days time for "aiding and assisting" in the crime this "Rex Nive" committed. I was annoyed, and asked him to stop calling me. He began to get aggressive, and said that he would come to my house personally and "drag my a** to jail". I then hung up, but have been receiving silent calls from this number for the past day.

This is a scam, and SHOULD NOT BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY! REPORT IT!

i had a call from the same guy but he called himself officer mark nicols and told me its in my best interest to call him that i am involved in a legal situation and he had my full ss# and stated it over the VM//freaked me out at first but my boss let me know its just a scam and i will be reporting it to the police.

I received the same call from Mark Nichols stating that I owe for a payday loan and that I needed to pay a certain amount today or I will go to jail. He read me an affidavit over the phone. He was rude with an indian accent and very aggressive.

Got a call from them and he threatened to arrest me. I seriously doubt it. I don't know what he wants nor do I care. But it was an Indian sounding guy whose name was Officer Enrique (yeah right).

I had a phone call this morning bright and early saying that an aquantance of mine ( that I personally know is in jail right now ) had gotten a payday loan online and put me down as a person who will pay back half of what is owed if she couldn't.  When I said that I have nothing to do with this person and refuse to pay what she owes, they told me that I have 48 hours to change my mind.  They were rude and obnoxious and when I got mad the so called supervisor asked me if "I was f***ing crying".  When my husband called them they got rude with him told him to shut up and called him a dog.  My husband is in the U.S. Army.  We told them that we are getting ahold of JAG.  They didn't even know who they were!  They wouldn't give me their names and wouldn't let me talk to the highest person they work for.

Igot the call and he said his return number was 973-975-0955, said I had a legal matter and I would be arrested.even gave me the last four digits of my SSN. I told him to put someone on the phone that could speak english. Stated he was officer Jeff Nelson with the FCI. It is a scam...also called back on a local number..

Yea this same so called officer called me to.... he told me I was broke and could not pay my bills and when I asked him if the so called loan check was cashed he said he sent me a walmart gift card for $11,000.00 seriously wow at that point I had to laugh he couldnt even speak good english I told him he must be upset cause the US denied his loan for a gas station and now he wants to scam people to try and open one.. these people are crazy if they think americans are that stupid!

I got a very similar call just like all of you guys from a guy named "Daniel Smith" saying I had an outstounding balance, calling me at 11:30 in the morning saying I have to come up with $710 by 2pm that day otherwise I would be taken to court. I caught on to them, and told them I know they are scamming me. And when he called I got angry with them, and told them off, and they were telling me Im not allowed to talk to them that way and that I will be arrested for this and he got crazy rude so I hung up. IF THEY CALL YOU DO NOT ANSWER YOUR PHONE, OR FALL FOR THIS, THEY ARE JUST A SCAM They are doing illegal activities, and it isn't right, they are not real!

i got the same phone call at my place of employment. they had all of my information, last 4 digits of ssn and banking information. even information on my mother. they  said i had a payday loan that was outstanding. he  had and accent and  told me his name was matthew rogers. i questioned him and he got very rude with me and even called me an american bi***. thats when i knew it was a scam.

Got 10 calls at work today...From Sam Nelson stating that I never paid a $400 payday loan. He stated that I was being arrested for 3 different charges.  He had the last 4 digits of my ss# and some of my checking info.  Told me was going to call my boss and have me fired and I was going to be behind bars.  After asking him not to call me at my place of employment, kept calling back.  I transferred one of his calls to the local police station and also turned him into the Federal trade commission.  Also, I notified my bank.  I am not sure if they are getting the info from some of these payday lenders or if they are hacking it?  He was very rude and had a very heaving accent.  I couldn:t understand mose of it.  He also stated that he was recording the phone call.  When I called the call back number back The Federal Crime Investigation wouldn;t identify themself.

Payday2go is not associated with them, they are a suspected criminal front. I am from payday2go (online loan company) I keep on receiving lots of call complaining about this fraud collectors and callers experienced harassment and asking them immediate payment and they are verbally threatening consumers by using nefarious fraud tactics (like threatening jail time). I even check our database but the callers don't have existing account with us, they are just using our company name to collect money. please visit our website at www.payday2go.com
If you received call from them and claiming that they are calling on behalf of payday2go. Please don't believe them and report it to us at (866)742-0413. It's just a scam call from a suspected location ( India ) which is using different company name and call out number almost everyday. They are using specific U.S.A telephone number which their gateway for their calls from a remote location, that's the reasonwhy the number that is appearing to our caller ID still a U.S number.

 One of the caller told me who have advance knowledge in computer that they have his IP Address (Internet Protocol). If one person have that important personal information, that scambugs can hacked your computer and can review your browsing history and that might be the reason why they have your information because you provided it online and also our company name and website since you access also our website. If that's really the reason where they get your personal information then I would advice everyone not to access your Bank Account information online for they might review it also. You can ask for an IT person to change your IP address for your security.

I received the same type of message. He is using the name Officer Robert Cox now. I reported it to the Irvine, CA police department, that is the city where the phone number comes from.

I had the same calls, until I filed a report with the police and turned the tables on him (officer robert cox, steve clark, romulus and many more names)  he is a scammer!!  I had my HR director at work call him back (he was rude as heck) and basically told him she was filing harrsement charges against him because he had been told not to call me at work.  After about 2 more calls I MADE TO HIM (HA HA HA) he said i would be arrested and he hung up on me ...  has not called back since.  Just keep harassing him, and calling him, and drive him so crazy that he wishes he never called you ... it worked!! he stopped calling.

This person called my place of employment asking for information about me.He said that he was officer Steve Clark, badge #819. He claimed that it was about a criminal investigation and for me to call. He had a distinct  Indian (Asia) accent. I researched his background and found that the phone is not a business number but they claimed to be the American Credit Association. The phone is out of Irvine California. Beware!!!

I got a message at my work number xxx-940-2626.  The individual stated his name was Officer Robert Cox.  He stated that he had some news for me that would be beneficial and I should call.  When I called the person just answered Hello.  I asked if this was the police department.  The person just hung up the phone.  I called back a few times and he asked me my name and it sounded like he may have recorded it.  After about the third time he stated that he would call me if need be.

Could not understand caller, threaten to have me arrested for non payment on a online payday loan that I never had.  When I started asking quesitons, they quickly became hostile and eventually hung up.  I tried calling back to find their location, but the individual that answered would not give me the city and state.  I plan to do some research and find these people and have them arrested if I can.

in order for you to get through to the 201 234 4715 number you have to unblock your number. i called blocked first and it said disconnected when i called unblocked i got through

I got a message from a guy blocking his number. on his message he left me the same number. I called it back first blocking my number and said it was disconnected. then i called unblocked and i got through. talked to dude. I wanna whoop his a**..wish i could find out the exact location of the call..

Someone named Lisa Wright calle dmy job stating I am going to be arrested tomorrow. She stated she was an attorney. I called the number back and some rude Indian guy answered. Who can I contact to get this to stop?

got a call today from a man with a foreign accent by the name of "ryan".  he said that i had a payday loan a couple of years ago and they deposited $1001 into my bank account.  he could not tell me when exactly but he could give me all my bank info plus he had the names of my mom and dad and their phone numbers.  he said that they could settle today for $534 payment otherwise they will arrest me tomorrow.  also, i supposedly have a court date set for tomorrow at 11am although he couldn't tell me at which court.  he also said that it is from a law firm but could not tell me which one.  i call my local sheriff's dept and the police dept in my town and both said it sounds fradulent but they will file a report.  also, according to "ryan" there is already an arrest warrent out for me but my sheriff's dept and police dept said that if there was one, they would have it and THEY DON'T!!! how bogus.

THIS PERSON CALL MY JOB PRETENDING TO BE A FEDERAL CRIME INVESTERGATOR. HE DIDN'T SPEAK TO ME HE WAS ASKING PERSONL QUESTIONS ABOUT ME.

this person called my job stating he work with the ferederal crime bureau.He didn't talk to me but was asking for my information.

I forgot to add this in my previous post..the number that I was told to call back was 201-234-4715 it is a disconnected #.

I got a call or I should say 14 calls today by a man with an East Indian accent stating he was David John. He stated my social # and demanded I tell him it was mine. I refused to confirm anything and asked who he was and what company he worked for he would not so I hung up. I got another call seconds later same guy using another name John Williams this time..He said it was regarding a loan. I have no loans I said and I told him I was reporting him as phone harassment. He called back and left a very threatening call even said he knew where I worked and lived and that I had children. I called the police and my phone carrier. If any of you recieve another call like this hang up and dial *57 this will trace the call and dial *77 to block unknown numbers.My phone carrier was very helpful and so where the police.I also subscribed to Lifelock to secure my identity.I hope this info helps others.Who in the Hell are these people???

I got a call from an Officer Joseph Newman, thick accent. First asking for my ex husband. Told him that I don't have anything to do with him and then goes on to tell me that they are sueing my mother for fraud and since I was listed as a reference that it was in my best interest that I have her call him back otherwise they were going to take legal action at her job or residence.

Rude thick indian accent stating that he was an Officer named Joseph Newman.  Saying that I needed to call him back relating to one of my relatives & that it was in my best interest to call him back.. Why the hell is it in my best interest to call him back for something that someone else did?

I never answer calls from people I don't know.. Glad there are sites out here like this one..
