Got a call from someone named Stacy. All she said was she was calling regarding my resume for a position in Brea. She left no company name, no job title, no nothing. Seems like a scam.

someone named Stacey called leaves only her name no company or information other than she has a position open in the town I live in. I've received several of these calls and if they don't leave a company name it has been a scam to join a sales force or nothing at all but a low level position. Or a chance to pay them to find me a job...

A call from Stacey stating there is a job in Brea. The World Financial people have called more than once,,,,just easy ploys used from seeing our resumes online.

This is a caller supposedly recruiting for World Financial Group for a position in So. Cal (Brea, CA). WFG is a MLM style financial company with a fair amount of bad press from disgruntled ex-employees. YMMV.

Stacy called about a job op. in Brea and didn't leave a company name.  I called back and left a message.  When she calls back I will mess with her.  This is the 4th Aegeon person that has contacted to me.  No I'm not open to a career change.  I will be blocking her number on my cell as I do all these other ageon creeps.

I received a call yesterday (May 24, 2010) from this 949-533-5553 number. Only voicemail is picked up. My resume was submitted on various sites also. Employment opportunity in Brea. Same line. I missed the call but I have been trying to find out also what type of job it is. If it is valid, I am not into Insurance Sales. I think I heard of this company but unsure of it's success but I think I looked into it a few years ago. It seems familiar. It is just not my cup of tea.BTW, no return call so it may be marketing call but no actual job.

Got a call from Stacy today from 949-533-5553 regarding employment in Brea.  She said she found my resume on Career Builders. She is with World Financial Group, a member of the Aegon Companies.   They sell life insurance and other products to individuals.  She wanted 5 personal and 5 professional references. Inteview tomorrow at 1:00 after reading this I don't think I will show up.

Anyone who calls (Stacy...) and doesn't leave the name of their company isn't a professional.  I've been a professional corporate and agency recruiter for 15 years.  I have never NOT left the name of the company or the position along with my phone number.  World Financial / AECOM is a total scam.

I also got a call from Stacey and from Sara. They get your phone number from Career Builder. I called Sara back and she actually explained me that the numbers are being fed from job databases. Anyway, it's a company called World Financial. Their job is to recruit people for training. Not sure if there are suckers left out there but it seems the training is not free otherwise they would be calling you. The never get into details. All they tell you is that you will be sucessful in the Finance Industry with them.

P.S. Don't fall victim to these Internet scam artists. Education, good judgment, and a healthy dose of skepticism are the best defenses against becoming a victim. Remember, if it looks too good to be true, stay away from it. Period!

Got the same call from the same person. She must be reading these posts and learning, because she gave her full name (Stacy Casper) company name and the lot. I actually spoke with her and determined that she's a recruiter pulling mass resumes from websites. The job is insurance / financial planners. It's a BS job.

Received a call from Stacy tonight about a job in Brea to call her at 949-533-5553.  Did not call her back since she didn't give the company name, this is not ethical business calling without more information.

Got back to back calls from 714-862-4321 (Elenore) and 949-533-5553 (Stacy) from World Financial Group (WFG) recruiting to work for them. This is really annoying. My resume was posted on several job sites in my industry which is in no way related to their stuff.

Received a call from Stacy trying to fill a job in Brea. No company name was provided. Next time I'll tell her to go f*** herself. :0)

Just got a call from this number on my answering machine. Never gave a company name but told to call back Stacy at this number. A reverse lookup brings it up as a cellphone. I don't call back anyone if they don't leave a company name.
