Got a call from 949-682-0270. Did not leave a message. I called back and they would not identify who they are. I did a bit of research and found out they they are with Sunrise Credit Services (some collection company out of east cost that shows up on the caller ID as a local CA number!!!! People that answered the phone had thick east-coast accents. I guess they will do anything they can to get folks to answer the phone. Even if it means showing the wrong number on the caller ID. Isn't there a law against that? FDCPA, TCPA, etc...........! I bet they can use their dialers to show ANY NUMBER they want!!! WOW! Talk about misrepresentation! Can an attorney get a class action out of their misrepresentation under the federal and state laws? Sign me up as a plaintiff!
