If you have a cell phone and can download an app called "Call Control" you can block any number from getting through to you. You will know they called, but that's all. There is a free version and the upgrade for more perks was about $5.00. I upgraded. I do love it. I only wish they had the same option for people who send unwanted texts, Call Control said they were working on adding that!

Too stupid to do business with. Claim to be in the managed computer investment business but had no clue as to who John Henry is. Stay away.

I get calls from all of these "Great Investment" people. Worst case is they call on my cell.
I use youmail as my free voice cell phone voice mail. I let the number go to the missed calll log then set it as spam. The next time they call the message is the "tones with the number you have reached is not in service" message.
That cuts down a lot of recurrent calls. youmail is free and you can customize groups and download different greetings.
Funny thing is some of these fools call back time and time again getting the disconnected message.
Sometimes it's fun to mess with them using different voice messages about "have they been 'saved'" or they have reached the "mental health hotline" I figure if they are going to call to try and scam me, I can jack with them all I want.
I am not rude to them but my messages sometimes are.
Normally before calling a number back that was a "missed call" I google the number and find message rooms like this so I know to simple add the number to the spam directory. It also sets my blackberry contact to scam folder as well.
Try the youmail and see what fun you to can have....
Cheers
After about 6 or seven times they generally do not call back but sell the list to someone else.....

I have received several calls, all from different numbers with ID CTI. Its strange, because they call about every week, but always hang up when the machine gets it.
I am curious who this is, most of the comments say its a dubious financial services company. Please don't Google and guess. If you don't know who this is, or have information from an actual conversation with them don't comment. If you Google CTI and this area you get both Credit Trackers and currency Traders. Don't post who it is if you don't know.
For me, I am just curious who this is, not really a hassle because I let the machine get all calls anyway and only pick up for friends.

I got a call from this number as well and it is Trackers Inc. The guy I spoke to, or should I say yelled at me, was Kenny Guy. They are a collection agency trying to collect for an overdrafted bank account. It does look like a mom and pop shop. Kenny's wife is Kimberly Guy who is the President. They both live in Orion, IL with the business operating in Bettendorf, IA. If you get a call from Kenny and he's a dick like he was to me, post on here and I can reveal some more personal information about them that should shut them up.

Again I know we just talked on the phone about this and thank you for your apology. I will be getting to the bottom of this and as to how we got linked to that number. Thank you taking the time to talk with me.

I can assure you that this number is not associated with the Trackers, Inc. in Bettendorf IA. I work there and it is a mom and pop shop with only one location(definitely not in CA). I will be looking into this tomorrow at work as we have nothing to do with this number or why it is calling anyone.

There are a whole family of slimy, sleezy, underhanded moronic companies, that sell trading systems by calling folks endlessly. This number belongs to CTI ..... and it is virtually impossible to get rid of these scumballs, or to keep them from calling. I am on the do not call list, have reported such numbers quite a few times .... and nothing is ever done to stop them from breaking all of the telemarketing laws. If you can get off one companies list, then another sleezy company will start calling to pester you. I have been called by TTI, TTI online (these folks are horrific people)... Trade Tech (reallly REALLY, nasty peopl!) ..... they all seem to be clones of one another .... and are the lowest of the low. They all seem to come from southern California, and they call from a whole family of numbers .... and the lines tend to be outgoing only. If you ask to be taken off the calling list .... the results tend to be ridiculous... and usually rude.
These folks lie, they break the rules, and if I had to guess... whatever they are selling is completely worthless ... so they are essentially trying to "steal" your money away from you. Nuisance crooks!.... and it seems a shame that they are allowed to operate. Have received hundreds of calls from these type folks ... and the only answer seems to be to block entire area codes and prefixes. I have tried being polite with them ... I have gone ballistic with them .... nothing works.

Kept getting calls from this number. No one would answer. I kept hitting redial and something picked up the line. A series of tones were played. I randomly pressed about7 or 8 keys. Gopt connected to someone asking to speak to 'John'. It was like they dialed the phone. I asked why they were calling my number. After several minutes of saying they didn't call me, he asked if I was active in the stock market. I told him this number was on the do-not-call list and to never call again. Strange response since caller id showed CTI.
So if you receive a call from this number, call them back. Keep calling until you get through. After the tones, dial some random numbers and let them have it.

Keep getting calls from this number.
Never a message on the answering machine.
When I have answered, no one is there.

Got a call from 949-752-2870 this afternoon/evening. It only rang once or twice, but I didn't answer it in time. I got distracted with other things and didn't call it back until about 8pm. No answer, no message, just rings on and on. However, looking online, I see that this number comes up for Trackers, Inc. (www.trackerscorp.com), which is a collection agency with an office in Irvine, CA at:
17165 Von Karman Avenue
Irvine,CA 92614
Their corporate office is in Iowa, at:
Trackers, Inc.
1970 Spruce Hills Drive
Bettendorf, Iowa 52722
563-344-8500 phone
563-344-9200 fax
I do have some old credit card debt they may be trying to track me down on, so this is no surprise to me. However, someone else may read this and find it helpful.
Now getting up on my soap box, I will not pay any collection agency no matter what tactics they use. I would be willing to speak with the original creditor, but once they have written off the account, taken a tax break for it, and sold it off (maybe multiple times to different companies) to a collection agency I will not pay them no matter what (how would you feel paying a $1000 debt in full that the collection agency paid less than a dollar for?). It only encourages their despicable industry to proliferate further. I would prefer that all collection agencies go out of business, and that the employees there find jobs that have some value to society, rather than leeching off of it. Just my $0.02 worth of opinion!

Checking on my Caller ID, I have received 9 calls from this number in the last 100 calls received on our ground line. CTI has an "investment" program that "guarantees phenominal results". After politely requesting that the calls cease, I have taken a more hostile (and yes, profane) approach. These people are incredibly thick skinned, aggressive and abusive. I am reporting them to my State AG.

Different online directories point to "Trackers Inc".
