I work for a bank, and I had a customer tell me they recieved a call from this number, telling him his debit card was compromised. He hung up without saying anything, but beware because it looks like they are trying to gain bank information from people.

Received a call from this number. Answered it, but there was no response or background noise. The silence continued for 10 seconds, after which the call was disconnected at the source.

Call my house all of the time.  When I answer there is just dead air and then the call disconnects.  I tried calling the number back but I get the message that it is an invaid phone number.  Who are these people?

Jerk on other end demanded to speak to my husband about my son signing up for Federal funding for schooling for SATs.  He won't be taking SAT's until next year.  I asked her what my son's name was and she said it was signed by my husband.  Didn't know my sons name or what year of school he was in.  She was a totally rude and obnoxious person.   So I told her she was a jerk and I didn't like her attitude and wouldn't give her any information.  I believe it is a scam and wouldn't give out any information should some moron speak to you on the other end of the phone like that.  I don't believe it's legit.  Just someone trying to bank on someone else's information.  Watch out for this one.

I got a call from this number, caller id stated Irvine CA.  Calling to see if I was on well or city water.  I told the girl do not call, I am on the do not call reg.  she sounded surprised, and said she would remove my number.

It was a survey regarding water softeners.

I only answered because it showed as California call on the ID and I have relatives there. No one said anything

Third time I answered this call.  First time they said they were calling on behalf of my city (mentioned city name) for a water quality survey. We did the survey, and the next day we received a solicitation to schedule and appt with a water purifying company.  Clearly we were pissed.

Second time the initiating company called - they gave us the same line.  This time we told them we were on the DNC list, not to call back.

Third time just happened.  Same song and dance, calling on behalf of our city.  I stopped them and called them on the fraud, and the woman shouted at me that there were calling people OF my city, not FOR the city.  Wrong, you said for.  I tried to get the company name and she hung up.  I went ahead and reported the number to the do not call fraud list.

Received a call from this number at 9:25 p.m. with dead air in Brampton Ontario.... I am getting so sick of these kinds of calls and sales calls tonight alone I have received 3 diferent ones with different numbers in the last hour (which is also a little late in my book to be calling a residence)

949-930-2851 has been calling NON STOP for almost a week now. The only message I get is a thick accent saying "hello...hello...hello? This is career services.." *click*. My cell # is brand new - with a recently created Chciago area code and everything, yet they got my # anyway! I'm sick of it!!!

Call and hang up. Wasting my cell phone minutes. Hit ignore but won't leave a vm. Try to call it back and get "this number cannot take incoming calls". Difficult to understand. Thick THICK accents. Very rude & won't stop calling.

Been getting a call from this number at least 15 times a day for the past four days. They always call two times in a row, every couple of hours or so. I've yet to answer it.

Called my cell phone at 2:02 and 2:29 p.m. and I didn't pick up. Called again at 3:16pm and i picked up and said hello. They asked if this was *my name* and I said yes, but then they just hung up.

They call my cell phone repeatedly. During the day in th evening. Always twice at a time I never answer.

This number has repeatedly dialed my home number.  No one speaks after you say hello they just keep caliing all day.

this call came in Oct.9 2009 and said they were from a career board.
