Did some snooping around and spent a lot of time on the phone with MCI/Verizon.

Please feel free to call them every day to thank them for such wonderful marketing programs! I had to spend a lot of time on the phone and be very creative to get them to give it up to me!

I have been receiving these most annoying calls almost daily. The canadian Do not call list is TOTALLY useless and can not stop it as it origionates from California. As for the telephone company, also useless to stop it.

phone rings continuously, after 4 rings my answering machine should pick up but it won't with this number, my call block can't block it

Changed my phone number and they are still calling, saying hello, hello, then hanging up.

I got a call from 949-930-3668.   let no message just kept line open for a minute or so ...

They're calling every day and now they've called twice within 20 minutes. The hold till answering machine clicks in and then hang up.

Just a call from some idiot at 949-930-3668 asking if I worked for my company, but could not even pronounce it....sounded oriental (as usual) as said he worked for Microsoft.
Has anyone discovered who these idiots are ?

I punch zero.  Shortly thereafter, a dial tone.

Clearly, I think it was a prank call.

Got a call yesterday from this number. Apparently he was calling from Microsoft with a job offer - so I told him give me your email id first, and he refused and I just hung up the phone.

Got a call from this number on my mobile phone today, didn't answer it but shows it is from Irvine , CA. also got another one minutes later from a number in Kualar Lumpar!

I received 5 calls yesterday and TEN (yes, ten) calls today from this number. Call back and it said it's not recognized. I answered maybe 4 of the 15 times, and it was always just dead air, then disconnected.

SO annoying

Received a call stating they were calling me to discuss my Bell Service .  I knew right away it was a hoax and asked to be removed from any list.  At that time they even said you would have to call Bell Customer Service

Just received a call from this number at 11:36 am to my directoffice phone line - strange accent, asked for me by name - fullname - first and last name. He said: Hey -- "first name", how are you, this is Bruce"  And then he immediately hangs up.
Unable to call back to this number - same result as the prior posts.

Just received a call from this number at 1:50pm (PST).  Thought I heard a woman's voice, I said "hello" a few times and didn't hear anything back.  Hung up after 19 seconds.  The call is supposedly from Irvine, CA (USA).  It's great to be able to report the calls, but isn't there something that can be done to stop the calls?

Sounds as if he is in call center.  Thick accent and he is asking for direct line ext of the person he is asking to speak to. I would not give out.  He hung up or we were disconnected.

everytime i pick up the phone, its dead air, GRRRR. so i try to call them back, no luck. im really pissed!

Have received calls every day, hang ups, even when answered noone there, VERY annoying as it's a long distance ring and I have several friends who call me so I go running to the phone to catch it before going to voicemail and it's this annoying call....grrrrr~~~

Got a call from this number on my cell phone.  They did not leave a message - I called back and got a message saying "that is not a recognized phone number".  Has to be a scam of some sort.

Have also been receiving calls from this number for about 2 weeks. Never leave a message. Twice I have picked up: once I heard music and someone talking in the background (likely a call centre), and once was dead air. Very frustrating.

OMG!!! this people called me none stop within an hour. I probably had 12 calls just now! This lady with a heavy accent kept calling and asking for direct numbers. what cant she understand that I CAN NOT give out any information! and she was very rude to me! this is irritaiting and they keep disrupting my work phone.

Got this call on my company (desk) phone. The caller had a heavy (Indian?) accent, and sounded like she was in the middle of a noisy call center. She asked for me by first name & company name. I led her through a series of questions to identify who she was. She said her name was Gracy and she worked for Microsoft. She wanted me to verify my company extension. After some more inquiries, she told me that her manager had given her a list of names & companies to verify, 1500 in total.

At which point I politely told her that I couldn't provide the information she requested, and told her good-bye.

Thnx for this service, obviously a telemarketer so I let answering machine handle it.  Interesting how Bell Canada uses a California area code.  As your other wise posters say, buy nothing from phone solicitors.

1ST time they called ,,dead air -- second time some 4 hours later --it sounded like a bad music video ??? It cut off then hung up ??? Like I was switched to a hold line phone application ???? Then it disconnected ????

Calling several times a day, just empty line, doesn't matter if I pick up or not. Caller id says CALIFORNIA. Calling that number, I get the message "this phone number cannot accept calls."

I get a call from this number at least 3-4 times daily, never at home to pick it up or I just miss it.  No message ever left, sounds fishy to me.

calls a couple time a week, answered it today said it was Bell Canada and because I was such a loyal customer I save $5 a month but had no idea what service I had so I hung up. pretty sure it's a scam.

Called 949-930-3668 does not recieve incoming calls.  If I find out whom this number belongs to I will post.
